Players,
2023 NADGT: C-Tier @ JBeast is tomorrow!
Tournament Central: Look for the blue NADGT tent near Hole 1.
Schedule:
Check-in: 8:15-9:15am - ALL PLAYERS MUST CHECK IN THE DAY OF THE EVENT!
Round 1: 9:30 start (shotgun)
Lunch: on your own
Round 2: approximately one hour after the conclusion of Round 1
Awards: 15 minutes after the conclusion of Round 2
Starting Hole Assignments: Starting hole assignments will be posted to the PDGA event page this evening, which can be found at
https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/67584. Starting assignments may change slightly if there are any last-minute signups, so make sure to double-check on the morning of the event.
Weather: It looks like most of the rain is going to move out before the start of the tournament. In the event of lightning within 10 miles of the tournament location, three blasts of a horn will indicate a suspension of play. PDGA Suspension of Play Policy
Water: Water will be available at multiple locations on the course, but players are encouraged to bring their own water for each round. If a water jug is empty and needs to be refilled, please text the number provided on the signs.
Dress Code: PDGA Dress Code
Directions to the Course:
https://udisc.com/courses/j-beast-SjAU
J.B. Hunt Park, Fleming Drive, Springdale, AR
OB Sheets will be available digitally, but printed copies will be available for each card. They are attached to this email and are loaded into the PDGA digital scorecard.
Scoring: We will use PDGA Live Scoring for the tournament. pdga.com/score. The password is jbeast. EVERY CARD MUST KEEP A DIGITAL SCORECARD! DON'T FORGET TO FINALIZE YOUR SCORE ONCE THE ROUND IS OVER! Each card must keep two scorecards, preferably both on PDGA Live Scoring. Paper scorecards will be available, but UDisc also works as a good backup.
Playoffs: In the event that multiple players tie for first place in a division, the players will need to play off to determine a winner. Players will play sudden-death stroke play on a loop of Holes 16, 17, and 18. Ties for second place or below will not require a playoff.
Let me know if you have any questions. Look forward to seeing everyone on the course!
