Ben, did you ever get an answer about this? I too have a significant about to spend with them. They made it sound like it was no big deal to wait and spend it later. Hope we aren't getting burned by not spending it on the spot.

Todd Williams    June 13 at 2:07am

Had fun but very disappointed that there wasn’t King Of The Lake shirts and player’s pac was pretty weak but still Thanks to all for hard work!!!!

Josh Fankhauser   June 13 at 2:57am

Loved the MVP discs this year! Shirt would have been cool, but two top quality discs (and Envy/Hex at that) is hardly “weak”

Noah Wald   June 13 at 3:33am

Tournament stamped discs maybe

Rob cerra   June 13 at 4:18am

Perfect maybe next year you can run a tournament of this size so we can have shirts and non “weak” discs. ????‍♂️

Jeff Sherfey    June 12 at 2:32am

Thanks to all, director, assistants, volunteers! Great tournament!!!

For those chillin in our cars during the delay, can someone drop an update here if anything changes?

Andrei Anderson   June 12 at 12:50am

Calling at 6 if there is more lightening

Kellen McCullough   June 12 at 12:58am

Thanks man.

Kellen McCullough   June 12 at 1:01am

Lol the sky gods said nope at 6 on the dot

Zach Kimbrough    June 11 at 4:02pm

I’m not playing this event, I was just checking scores and am40 has a -30 stroke round and 1144 rating. Something’s weird there, did the round get called off for lightning?

Andrei Anderson   June 11 at 4:07pm

Yes. Round four was cancelled. Those scores will not count.

Dylan Quintana   June 11 at 4:08pm

Yes scores are being adjusted

Andrei Anderson    June 11 at 2:55pm

Is there any reason for people teeing off at 2 or later to stick around? Weather not looking good?

Dylan Quintana   June 11 at 4:10pm

Unless you want to DNF I’d stick around

Rich Rushlow    June 10 at 3:47am

Greetings All,

I have a vehicle issue for Sunday coming form the North side, Kings Beach to Bijou. I play in the MA 60's and would be willing to get there early in that is the way it is suppose to be. If anyone could give me a ride please reach out.

Is there a problem with my cards scoring in MA2? Anyone know Benjamin or Tony, I think they were our score keepers....

Michael Salet   June 10 at 2:55am

Tony finalized it other guy has not.

Sharon Keoppel   June 10 at 3:28pm

I fixed it last night. Check your scores for accuracy

Andrei Anderson    June 10 at 1:11am

Found an OTB stool at Tahoe Vusta today and turned into Sharon and her helper. Hopefully you get it back!

Michael Lindsay   June 10 at 3:13am

Thank you! That's mine!

David Netzley    June 10 at 12:37am

Did anyone find a black Luna at zephyr?

Michael Salet   June 10 at 2:26am

It was turned in

David Netzley    June 10 at 12:37am

Did anyone find a black Luna at zephyr?

Ryan Dunsdon    June 9 at 12:29pm

Do we need to pay vistas parking fee?

Edward Roope   June 9 at 12:50pm

Bring a 5 last year we paid.

Michael Salet    June 8 at 8:35pm

Hole assignments?

Sharon Keoppel   June 9 at 12:15am

working on them, mandatory players meeting 745

Kellen McCullough    June 8 at 7:51pm

So what actually happens if we slide under a big truck on 18 at Tahoe Vista? I see we can take relief on the line of play backwards but how far back does that mean? Only until we can throw an overhand? Some of them suckers are kinda tall.

Never played with rules at Tahoe Vista or any of the KOTL courses for that matter. Where I come from, there are no rules. Where I come from, we'd blow up the truck and then take our shot, clear of obstacles.

Alex Tyler   June 8 at 8:20pm

The rule listed and linked in the caddy book explains it: take your relief immediately behind the object

Kellen McCullough   June 8 at 8:41pm

Yeah I read it. Just verifying.

Kellen McCullough    June 8 at 3:09am

How often do KOTL rounds get delayed/cancelled because of thunderstorms? Forecast is looking rad and getting radder by the day. Gotta put the Thunderbird back in the bag just in case. They say that is how magic is made.

Casey Jensen   June 8 at 3:38am

It's very spotty with the t-storms, even when they say 60%+, it could be down right beautiful all day. I've never played a KOTL with a lightning delay, and only one sts event(Tahoe pro/am in 2018) with a short call off the course. That being said, I've never experienced this kind of c ... more

Jason Woods   June 8 at 5:28am

Thanks for the info Casey. I’m coming from Grass Valley

Kellen McCullough   June 8 at 5:39pm

Yeah I've been in Reno 7 years and same experience. This year has been different different thus far. I've had to get off the course and shelter at Lizard a few times in the last month. More exposed there though. I'd feel safer at the KOTL courses. Anyway, I hope the lightning skips KOTL but some rain rounds would be an excellent touch.

Jacob Binette    June 8 at 2:09am

Any idea on them caddy books?

How long are the road delays getting into zephyr on Friday?

Casey Jensen   June 8 at 2:03am

Coming from where Jason? There's a few small delays between the courses Friday, 10 to 20min total I'd say. And on lunch break/course change we'll all be in it together. What ever you do avoid going though Tahoe city Friday morning before the first round. It's horrible.

Will Riddle   June 8 at 2:36pm

I have to drive from South Tahoe through Tahoe City for my first round. Is it much better timing wize to go Nevada side of lake over to the course?

Chris Illes   June 8 at 5:22pm

Same route needed here

Michael Lindsay    June 7 at 9:26pm

At Sierra College, hole 4, which tee pad are we using, right or left? Thanks

Ryan Dunsdon   June 8 at 12:49am

How bout them par 4s!

Casey Jensen   June 8 at 1:49am

Should be all the tee pads with signs. The alternate teepads don't have signs.

JONATHAN MILLER    June 7 at 5:03pm

How are the caddie books coming along?

Edward Roope    June 7 at 4:12pm

Hey hey! I work in Tahoe and they are repairing roads around Tahoe city and Incline. So plan accordingly. Just a PSA for everyone to know Friday will have some traffic situations. From my knowledge they don't work on the weekend.

Carl Sagmiller   June 7 at 7:07pm

Thanks for the heads up

Casey Jensen   June 8 at 1:52am

To add to this, try and avoid driving from Tahoe city to Tahoe Vista on Friday. It's a nightmare. If your coming from the truckee side, take 267 to Kings Beach then over to Vista. Avoid 89 through Tahoe city to Vista if at all possible.

Craig Getty   June 8 at 9:38am

Casey, thanks for sharing the locals route information.
