I am excited that the Hoosier Hoser is about here. When arriving Saturday, Conklin Pavilion's parking lot will likely be full. Please look at the map in the pictures section of this event page for additional parking. Pay attention to where the Temp Courses greens are and avoid parking there. You need to be there and checked in at the pavilion before 9:00am. Check in starts at 8:00am. Do not be that team that pushes it to the last minute and makes everyone wait because of you. After Check in we will have a short players meeting, where we give away some prizes, before sending players out to their holes. Shoaff Park can be very busy on a nice day. Please be polite and courteous to all park patrons. They are not used to disc golf being where the Temp Course is set up. A Food Truck, reached out to me to see if they could serve at lunch and I told them that would be OK. Here is a link to their Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/MonterricoFoodtruck/. I have been told that they are good, but have not personally eaten from it before. There are also many restaurants that you could go to, but you only get a 1 hour lunch break once the last card comes in before we start round 2. Also, remember to bring a disc to donate to Dustin Cross for a local kids summer camp if that interests you. Are you ready for a CTP on every hole of the event (48 Total). A Portable Dynamic Discs Veteran basket is also being raffled off, so keep an eye out in the pavilion for how to purchase tickets. See you Saturday morning.

So there is no confusion. Everyone will play all 48 holes at Shoaff on Saturday.

A Pool is: MPO. MP40, MA1, & MA2. They will be playing the Temp Course first.
B Pool is: MA3, MA40, MA50, FA1, & Mixed Amateur. They will be playing the Permanent course first.

The pools will switch courses after lunch.

We are less than 5 days away from the 2023 Hoosier Hoser. It is always nice to see familiar faces and the new ones too. An email will be sent out in the next day or two with some basic and pertinent information about tournament day, so keep an eye out for it. It takes a small army to pull this event off on tournament day. Please thank the volunteers and stay positive. Thank you!

If anyone wants to donate a disc for a good cause, Dustin Cross will be collecting them at the Hoosier Hoser. He posted "Hey everyone. Our local summer camp is putting in a 9 hole disc golf course for the kids and teens to use and to be able to learn to play disc golf. But they are going to be in need of some disc to lend out to the kids. I wanted to try to help them out by rounding up some discs to donate to them. They don't have to be in great shape, just something for the kids to learn on. I appreciate any and all help. thank you"

Just a heads up. I am adding 2 more holes to the Temp course to make it 24 holes. This would make it 2 rounds of 24 (1 on the Temp course & 1 on the Permanent course). I decided to split up the 425ft last temp hole that rarely gets birdied into 2 fun 300ft holes. I also added a 2nd hole that plays over the pond on the opposite side. The 2nd pond hole is relatively short and discs should not be difficult to retrieve if they get wet. New maps are posted.
