Disc Golf:
Disc golf at PICKARD will be first.
BEST SHOT DOUBLES
Planning for a shotgun start at 8:30 AM.
Please check in with me around the practice basket/hole 1 no later than 8:15. I plan to be there around 7:30.
The layout for Pickard is on UDisc, under the Classic Layouts for Pickard and is called 2023 Balls, Sticks, Discs.
We are doing a 20 hole layout for the tournament and the map on UDisc is accurate.
Since this layout is a combination of the Gold, Silver, and OG Pickard layouts, I will also provide each team with a print out of notes for each hole (length, which tee/basket, etc.). I will have each tee we are using marked with flags to avoid any confusion.
I will NOT have a UDisc event set up so each group will just need to keep scores on UDisc and report them to me before leaving Pickard.
PLEASE be mindful of pace of play. I’m hoping the round of disc golf takes no more than 3.5 hours so we have enough time for folks to grab lunch and get to Shady Oaks on time.
Golf:
Shady Oaks is expecting us to be ready to shotgun start for the round of golf by 1 or a little after so please be at the course and ready to go! The round of golf will also be best shot doubles.
It is literally 5 minutes East of Pickard.
I will shuffle cards based on scores after the round of disc golf.
PLEASE NOTE: Shady Oaks is a cash/check only facility. They DO NOT accept credit/debit cards, though they do have an ATM on site. Please prepare accordingly.
I ask that you please do your best to take care of the golf course and golf carts. This event is hopefully the start of a partnership with the facility and the disc golf community and I would hate for 1 idiot to ruin that before it even gets started.
Awards/Payouts:
After the round, I’ll tally up the scores and do payouts on site at Shady Oaks.
We will have 3 flights for the event with the top 3 teams in each flight cashing.
