Hello everyone.

Unfortunately, after speaking with Kevin up at Buxton and attempting to get up there myself, we have come to the difficult decision of cancelling this event entirely.

First off the road up to Buxton remains extremely icy and it will not be getting any warmer than 36 degrees up there so it’s not melting. The parking lot is also iced over.

Secondly, after attempting to walk the course, Kevin informed me that not only the teepads, but the entire course grounds are covered in an inch or more of ice. For this reason he does not want players on the course.

I will be sending all currently registered players a complete refund. We will be looking at other dates to hold our Buxton Slosh. Please stay tuned to DGS and Facebook.

We have Slosh #4 coming up in a little over a month at Glendoveer so be sure and get signed up for that one. It’s gonna be a great time. The full event details have been posted to DGS.

I deeply appreciate all of you who had intended to ride this one out with us and I hope that when we get the new date figured out, you will find us again.

Hello there!

Unfortunately, due to the weather, we will be postponing Stumptown Slosh #3 to the next Saturday, January 20th, 2023. The schedule, layout, divisions, and all other aspects of the tournament will function exactly as it would have. I will be sending out another player info email before the event. i have pasted the layout below in case anyone needs a refresher for the coming week.

Registration will remain open until Friday, January 19th 2023 at 8:00 pm. Anyone who is no longer able to make the new date will of course receive a full refund. I will extend this policy right up to 8 pm on the Friday before the event.

Please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns. This was not an easy decision to come to but after Kevin from Buxton implied that he would prefer the change it became a simple choice. Safety of all involved has to be our number one priority.
