Brent Siemers is the Sergeant at Arms for KCDG and now he is running tournaments?

Keith, is everything alright? You seem to be having some sort of issue with the KCDG Club... I would recommend reaching out via email -- rather than posting comments on an event in DGS.

What's up with KCDG having unsanctioned events? Trying to cut PDGA out are we?

Keith, in the 10+ years that I've been a member of KCFDC and the KCDG, it has never been a PDGA event. As recently as 6 years ago, you couldn't even pre-register for it.

Keith, if you are as concerned about playing and supporting the PDGA as it seems to be, why is it that you haven't been a PDGA member since 2020?

Why isn't this sanctioned by the real disc golf association?

As a local tournament director that ran over 12 PDGA sanctioned events, and a long standing member of the KCFDC/KCDG, and the elected PDGA Kansas State Coordinator, it's a good to have non-sanctioned options for club members. If you want to play in a PDGA event, there are 50+ sanctioned events within a one hour drive of the Kansas City metro each and every year.

*12 PDGA sanctioned events in 2022. From 2014 - 2022, that number is over 80 events.

What Rob said. This event serves 3 masters. 1) It's a membership drive for our local organization; 2) It's meant to be an entry point for first tournaments for newcomers to organized disc golf, that's better as an unsanctioned event; 3) we want to crown club champions.

What time do we tee off on saturday?

I'll send a complete email update to all the registered players on Friday night, but the tentative tee time is 9:00 am for round 1 on Saturday, and 1 hour about 1:00 for round 2.

Why are there two Paul Eklunds? Isn’t one Paul Eklund enough?

Juan Pablo is never enough!!
