Welcome to the 1st stop of the 2022 Gulf Coast Tour Challenge at Taylor Park!!

Checking In:

Please make sure that you check in under the pavilion next to hole #1 prior to starting your round. If you pre purchased a disc, they will be available for you there.

Grouping and Tee Times:

You are free to create your own group of at least 3, but no more than 5 players and start whenever hole #1 is available. You can tee off as early as 7:30am, but no later than 4:00pm. I would suggest anyone who does not have a designated group to arrive well before the 4:00pm cutoff so you can ensure you have a group to play with. Additionally, as a personal request, I would like to request everyone to be conscious of what time they are arriving and try to avoid "high volume" times like first thing in the morning or early afternoon. The weather is going to be perfect all day long so don't be scared to come a little later in the afternoon to space out the 220 players that have to get through the course.

Parking

Parking must be in marked spaces at either the north parking lot (by hole 1) or the south parking lot (by hole 17). All other vehicles are liable to citation.

Course Layouts & Rules:

All course layouts and rules are posted in the pictures section of the registration page (https://www.discgolfscene.com/tournaments/2022_Gulf_Coast_Tour_Challenge_Stop_1_Picnic_Island_Park/pictures) and will be available on the PDGA Live Scoring App. Ladies, Please note that we have created a ladies specific layout that will be the same as the Short Layout with the exception of hole #18 where you all will be playing from the longs.

Live Scoring:

Please use PDGA Live Scoring and ensure that all scorecards are submitted prior to leaving the course. This means that if you use two PDGA Live Scorecards (highly recommended) that you confirm and submit both prior to leaving.

Due to the overwhelming demand, we have created a ladies specific layout that will segregate the women onto their own layout regardless of division. The layout will be all available short pads (1,9,10,11,15) with the exception of hole #18. All ladies will play the long pad on hole #18 to differentiate their layout from the Mixed divisions. There will be no changes to any mixed (MA# or MP#) divisions layout; any division playing longs will play all longs, any division playing shorts will play all shorts.
