Hi, when is the player's meeting and how do we check in? Are hole assignments already posted?

Brent Gann   January 14, 2022 at 1:02am

Hey Mike! We sent an email to your discgolfscene email address with all of that information. The player's meeting is virtual. Check in will be the morning off at the entrance to the park. Hole assignments will be posted some time tomorrow evening.

Mike M   January 14, 2022 at 1:10am

Thanks! I don't see it; can you post the link to the meeting? I see the registration confirmation email and when I got upgraded from the waitlist but not this one.

TIM OUIMET    January 13, 2022 at 10:54pm

Hey Brent I seen you only have two players for MA55 you can move me back to make that a division if we are still throwing from Red pads
John l said he would swap too if I did thanks and sorry for being a pain in the butt turbo Tim

Brent, good evening maybe a dumb question here but if the division is full and we are on the waitlist and can’t play because of limits in the division will we be refunded? Thanks definitely keeping my fingers crossed to get in! But just in case wanted to ask.

Great question. We will generally do a final clean up on Friday nights before the tournament and refund everyone on the waitlist. Sometimes, in the chaos, I forget to do it and it slips to Sunday.

Brent Gann   January 12, 2022 at 2:29am

But to answer the question succinctly, yes, anyone who doesn’t play will have the entire players fee refunded.

Thank you Brent!

I was charged $10 for Hunter Shipes as non current but he renewed a couple of weeks back. Is there something I have to do or will it fix itself after tournament?

If you go to the list of players and click edit on the registration it will refund that

Adam montoya    January 1, 2022 at 2:11am

Happy New Year’s Eve! Quick question, will any spots be available to open up for waitlist players or is it just wait and see!? Thanks happy new year!

Brent Gann   January 1, 2022 at 3:16am

No additional spots will be added. However, if people drop we will add people from the waitlist on a first come, first served basis.

dakota andries    December 28, 2021 at 1:50am

I will gladly move up if a spot opens up in rec before novice! I was hoping this would be my last novice event anyways!

Tiffany Massey    December 27, 2021 at 1:00am

Is it possible to be switched to women's novice?

TIM OUIMET    December 16, 2021 at 3:45am

I signed up for MA 60 not 55 move me to rec????????????

Brent Gann   December 16, 2021 at 4:31am

We can move you. We migrated to MA55 (also on reds) due to division count constraints. We will go ahead and move you to recreational but you’re welcome to jump back to MA55 as well.

Brent Gann   December 16, 2021 at 4:33am

We also may move back to 60 if we have more come into play 50 on whites. Which we can move you back.

Mike Gelsomino    December 14, 2021 at 2:18pm

Is the layout the same as last year's?

Brent Gann   December 14, 2021 at 3:44pm

Yes.

Brent Gann    December 9, 2021 at 3:10am

We’ve had a few people interested in additional divisions, as such we’ve made the following updates.

Added
FA2 - white layout
FA4 - red layout
MA60 - red layout

These divisions may be reconfigured if:

FA1 and FA2 may be combined if we have fewer than 3 registrants in either division.

FA3 and FA4 may be combined if we have fewer than 3 registrants in either divisions.

MA60 may be provided the option to move to MA3, MA4, or MA50 if 3 registrants are not added. Alt ... more

Brent, any chance opening up an MA60 division?

Brent Gann   December 9, 2021 at 3:03am

Done. Notes incoming on it.

Kurt Ritchey   December 9, 2021 at 2:20pm

Red tees? Any chance we could be assigned to the white tees? (it's a player rating thing)

Tom Moeller   December 10, 2021 at 1:25am

1 vote for reds for MA60. Ratings are overrated ;)

Richard Higbee    December 7, 2021 at 11:46pm

That players pack is fire!

Kaleb Skinner    December 6, 2021 at 3:11am

Is it 1 or 2 rounds?

Brent Gann   December 6, 2021 at 3:29pm

2 rounds

Sara dawson    November 28, 2021 at 1:04am

There’s no FA2? :(

Brent Gann   December 3, 2021 at 4:33pm

We've started offering FA1 on white and FA3 on red to keep from spreading our women's field too thin or creating weird card matchups or risking having to combine fields at the end. If we have enough people in FA1 or FA3 who want to move into FA2, we can add that division.

Abe Mills    November 12, 2021 at 2:50pm

Is this going to be a PDGA sanctioned tournament?

Brent Gann   November 12, 2021 at 3:08pm

Yes. This will be a C-Tier. We just got approval so we need to file for this.

Abe Mills   November 12, 2021 at 11:58pm

Awesome. Thanks!
