FYI my 920 PDGA rating is fifteen points below Intermediate’s ratings cap so that’s what I signed up for. I respect players who challenge themselves to get better and ask others to show the same respect. Another’s choice to play up does not make me a sandbagger. If the ratings system is flawed, the PDGA has an open line of communication for feedback.

Hey Rich, this is not a sanctioned event! Your PDGA rating will not be impacted as a result of your participation in this tournament. The divisions were simply used as a way to allow players to determine what level they want to compete at. We are not using PDGA ratings a s a way to determine what division soeone should play in. That is why it is a cash payout event for amateur divisions. As for the PDGA rating system, I don't have any control over that. Look forward to seeing you also!
