Will there be assigned cards or are we to figure that out on our own? If the latter, do we need to play with other registered players?

There are no assigned cards for this event though you must play with one other participant in the Trilogy Challenge. We can help arrange groups once you arrive. Alternatively, feel free to comment on the Facebook page to find a partner ahead of timehttps://facebook.com/events/s/2021-trilogy-challenge-at-elve/1721159714744120/

Right on – thanks!

How exactly does the flex start work in terms of playing with other people? Are we required to play on a card with a certain number of people? If so how will that be arranged?

The requirements for the flex start are that you must start your round between 8am-4pm and play your round with one other player participating in the Trilogy Challenge. If you are coming solo, we can help to find you a group to play with which should not be a problem given the number of players.

How does the registration fee get processed/refunded if on the wait list? thanks

If you don’t get in, your registration will be fully refunded minus the PayPal processing fees. Gender caps will be removed on 8/4 so those on the waitlist are able to confirm their plans for 8/14. If your get on the waitlist now, chances are good that you’ll get in.

Short tee even on 18?

Good question! Hole 18 will be played from the long tee. Can’t miss out on Madison’s most iconic hole! I will send out an email before the tournament and have print outs with the same pertinent info available tournament day. This will be included.

That's the answer I was hoping for. Being unsure got me to play the short tee a few times, which I hadn't done before :).

Hi Taija. Course closed or open to public?

Taija Lehtinen   July 6, 2021 at 2:17am

Hi Eric! Like last year’s at Hiestand, the course is open to the public. It’s a flex start over the course of 8 hours (8am-4pm) so there should be plenty of time to get a round in.

Do you also have to pay the $5.00 entrance fee to play?

Yes. The $5 daily pass required for playing at Elver is not included in the entry fee.
