I’d also like to invite you all to play in a very small match play tournament at the same course on June 26-27. There are 7 spots left for this. The winner will advance to the Arizona state tournament that I’m directing in Phoenix on September 11-12. The winner of that moves on to the US amateur match play championship in Emporia Kansas. 2 weeks away! Thank you to everyone who registered for this event. We’re looking forward to a fun weekend of disc golf with our local bag tag being the day before.

Keep an eye on these comments/your email for any updates to come in the next two weeks.

I’ll be adding a picture to the event page that will have the scheduled tee times. If you registered late, you’ll be added to the next card and I’ll post your time here in the comments. If your team name is not on the spreadsheet or in the comments within a couple days, please shoot us an email so we can add you to a tee time.

AWARDS
In the pictures on the event page you can see a picture of the 1st place award. There will 2 trophy discs for the first place team and Dynamic disc gift cards. Second and third place teams will receive Dynamic Discs Fuzion Sheriffs. We are working on a CTP right now. Buy in and award will be announced later. We will have an ace pot as well, buy in will be announced later.

Proceeds from this event (CTP cash, uncashed ace pot, extra disc sales) will be donated to Cochise County Disc Golf Club.

Some more updates and reminders

We will be using UDisc live scoring! This is super easy to use but at least one person on each TEAM will need to have the app. If you do not have an account, they off month long trials that will give you all the access you need for live scoring. I will be adding all players to the event this week, so if it doesn’t appear on your app please let us know by Saturday.

We will be playing the normal layout, with the island on hole 12 being in play, but no other mandos.

This is a best shot doubles event and you and your patterned May only use the discs given to you on the day of the event.

We only have a few extra player packs right now which will be reserved for late sign ups but will be available for purchase after the event. Anyone buying an entire player pack will get first dibs over buying an individual disc. This is the first time these discs are available in these plastics so get them while you can!

Please arrive 10 minutes early to check in, make sure your app is working and maybe throw the new discs a couple times
