Play It Again Sports presents The Shipwreck Open at Ship Rock DGC. Lancaster County Disc Golf Club is excited to run this tournament and provide a fun and competitive day for both Pros and Ams alike. For this tournament Play It Again Sports has added $300 added cash to Pro payouts, and $200 added merch to Am payouts. Play It Again Sports will be on site to vend for Am prizes. Pros will be playing for cash.
This event will be a one day, two round PDGA C-tier..
Layouts: One Round of Silver (Rd 1) and One Round of Gold (Rd 2), both with modified and added Out-of-Bounds. Hole previews of the modified rules will be posted the week prior to the event. There will be two temp holes added to allow for an 80 person field for the event.
Three players are required to make a division unless an exception is granted by the event TD.
Groups will be required to utilize the PDGA scoring app as their first method of scoring. Paper cards will be available upon request or another player in the group may utilize the UDISC app as the second method of scoring.
There will be some modifications to the usual procedures of tournament day to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. These will include but are not limited to a virtual player meeting in lieu of a physical one, and masks being required at registration.
