Good Morning Heritage Hills Competitors,
We are a few days away from the start of competition and I wanted to go through some official details. Call this your players meeting, so please make sure you read and save this email for reference.
Caddy Book:
There is a caddy book attached with the maps of each holes and the schedule of events. If you need a physical copy, please print it, we will not have them onsite.
The course baskets are 100% in place now and will not change between now and the event. The OB lines will be painted Friday Morning. There have been a few minor changes from the course and the maps that were published online last week.
Players Package Pick Up
If you elected to get a players package, you can pick it up at the F3 event (12-6pm) or you can pick it up on Saturday. I highly recommend you plan on getting it before your round on Saturday so you don't forget. Players Packages WILL NOT be able to be picked up on Sunday.
Pictures/Legacy Trading Cards
One of the things that makes Heritage Hills are the Legacy Cards that can be earned during the event. If you get a Ace, Eagle or Win your Division, you will be awarded a Legacy Trading Card. We also take 5 random pictures for our competitor cards. So please dress that way you want the world to see you if you happen to earn your way onto one of these cards.
Tee Times:
Tee Times will be posted tomorrow evening and are unchangeable once they are published. Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your tee time. We will be taking headshot pictures of every player prior to the round. These pictures are in case we don't have a good picture of you on the course if you happen to earn a Legacy Trading Card.
Scoring:
We will be using the PDGA scoring for this event. Each player should be familiar with pdga.com/score and be prepared to assist with the scorekeeping. A 2nd person will be required to also keep score which can be done with either UDisc or paper scorecard, but the PDGA scorecard is the official scorecard and the only one that gets turned in.
Drinking Water:
I will have drinking water on Hole #1, #9 and #16. It is really hard for me to get water in the back section of the course. Please plan accordingly and bring extra water with you. It is supposed to be a hot day. Do not plan on using the water fountain that is located at shelter #10. That shelter is privately reserved for another event.
Parking/Shelter
We have Shelter #9 reserved for the event, which is the farther shelter away from Hole #1. Almost straight across the pond of Hole #16. We can use that large parking lot for overflow parking.
Awards:
We will be conducting the awards ceremony as soon as the division has been completed on Sunday.
If something comes up and you are unable to attend, please email, text or call me at the number below.
