Are we going to be able to tee from the side of the slick tee pad (#19 for this)?

We are going to set some flags to the side to allow for it, yes. Those tee pads are technically A & B. Both sides for A, and B might just be behind, or just to one side so that you don't get advantage on the angle to get through the trees.

dumb question but might as well ask - A friend of mine would like to caddy so he can experience a tournament without playing. Is this allowed?

Yes. It isn't a problem. Just be aware that a caddy is subject to all of the same rules as a player in a PDGA sanctioned event.

Quick reminder that once registration closes and you either withdraw or just don't bother showing up, if there is no one on the waitlist to take your spot, you will NOT be receiving a refund and we will make arrangements to get your player's pack to you.

If you're gonna bail on us, do it before 9/9/2021 at 8pm.

Quick layout updates. There will be mandos marked on Holes 2 and 14. They will be the first tree to the right of the tee pads and the disc must pass to the left of the mando.

A line will be painted separating Hole 12 and 15's fairways and will play as OB.

Hole one will have flags or another means of marking the teeing area.

2a A.K.A. the Beach shot, will have flags marking the teeing area, but in general be the concrete at the top of the steps.

Expect a more detailed post in the next couple of days.

Matt, you should be able to modify your registration yourself and it should prompt you for the difference in entry fee.

how will OB work on the back 9 where it's more open? Will there be lines or string anywhere? Or just a "don't get hit by the guy on the box" mentality?

How exactly does waitlist work? Will we be notified ahead of time if we are added? Or should we show up by X time and be notified there?

If someone drops, the next in line on the waitlist moves into the event. You should receive an email when that happens. If you have not been moved in off the waitlist before the tournament, there is still a chance that people don't show up that morning and you can get it, but obviously there are no guarantees.

it is a temp hole, different tee throwing directly down onto the beach

Zach is correct, it is a temporary hole. After hole 2, you'll go up the steps and throw from the concrete at the top of the stairs to a basket tucked in on the west side the the beach.

We will be removing the restriction on the divisions if no women decide to sign up to open the field for more mixed on 08/27/21.
