Dynamic Discs will award no more than 16 Local Qualifying Brackets to each state or province based on geography and population centers.

We are excited to announce the players pack discs for USAMPC Singles: Each competitor will receive a Dynamic Discs Hybrid Sergeant and a Latitude 64 Retro SPZ2!

For 2021, we have minimized the size of the local brackets from a 16 person bracket to an 8 person bracket. This reduction should help more Local Brackets fill quicker but also increase the size of each of the State Brackets. The State Bracket and Championship Bracket will remain as a 16 person bracket.

Once all of the State/Province Brackets are complete, we will host both a Championship Bracket and a Consolation Bracket in Emporia, KS. The winners from each State/Province Bracket or each state’s representative will play in the Championship Bracket. The players who qualify to come to Emporia but have a loss from the State/Province Bracket will have the opportunity to compete in the Consolation Bracket. Only players who have won their State/Province Bracket or are attending in place of a State/Province Bracket winner who cannot attend will be eligible to compete in the Championship Bracket.

The top 8 players in the Championship Bracket will receive a prize package.

Players who qualify for the Championship Bracket will receive $250 cash and $500 Dynamic Discs store credit upon arrival in Emporia.


How it works:

Who?
Current PDGA member – All amateur disc golfers can play regardless of their rating. Professional disc golfers rated 969 or below as of January 1st, 2021 can play (this is based on the current PDGA policy which allows professionals to play MA1 in amateur events). New members who do not have a current PDGA rating are also eligible to compete.

Non-current PDGA members – Disc golfers who have never been rated 970 or above.

Non-PDGA members – Disc golfers who are not a current PDGA member and have never been a PDGA member.

What?
Local USAMPC Singles qualifier match play brackets will be held throughout the United States and Canada from May through July. A list of these events can be found on the UDisc app. Players that meet the qualifications described above can pay $45 to compete in one of these brackets. Please contact the TD to get more information on local details. The Local Qualifying Bracket may be conducted over a few days or over the period of a few weeks. The Local Qualifying Bracket TD will determine the timing of when the brackets need to be played. The $45 entry fee is a one time cost.

Note: THERE ARE NO REFUNDS registering through UDisc, and players will check a box confirming they understand the refund policy.

Players will receive a Dynamic Discs Hybrid Sergeant and Latitude 64 Retro SPZ2 in their player pack. Regardless of how far a player advances, there are no additional entry fees for bracket winners after the $45 Local Qualifying Bracket fee. Winners of the Local Qualifying Brackets will move onto their respective State Bracket. The winners of each State Bracket will earn their right to go to the Championship Bracket in Emporia, Kansas from October 7th-9th, 2021.

Championship Bracket
All players who win their State/Province Bracket are eligible to compete in the Championship Bracket in Emporia. If the winner is unable to participate, then the spot will be offered to the 2nd place finisher from that State/Province Bracket, then to the 3rd place finisher if the 2nd place finisher cannot attend, and so forth. Each player who comes to Emporia to compete in the Championship Bracket will receive $250 cash and $500 in store credit upon arriving at Emporia.

The Championship Bracket can accommodate 64 players, and in the event that we do not have a full bracket, there may be byes during the first round.

If a player from the Championship Bracket loses within the first day of competition, they will automatically be moved over to the Consolation Bracket.

Consolation Bracket
Any player who competed in a local bracket may participate in the Consolation Bracket (see registration schedule below).

There may be a nominal fee to compete in the Consolation Bracket for players not representing their State/Province. The fee will be determined once the local brackets have all been concluded. The fee will not be greater than $45. For the first 3 tiers, you will receive an email invitation with the sign up details if there are still spots available when your tier opens up.

Any player from the Consolation Bracket that is eliminated in the first three rounds, will automatically be registered to compete in the free Bonus B Tier on Saturday October 8th, 2021.

State/Province Brackets – August/September 2021

Championship and Consolation Bracket in Emporia, Kansas – October 7-9th, 2021

Where?
Bracket TDs will establish the locations for the Local Qualifying Brackets matches.

State or Provincial Coordinators (or a designee) will establish the dates for State/Province Finals.

The Championship and Consolation Bracket will be hosted in Emporia, Kansas.

Why?
Match play is an exciting way to compete as a disc golfer. Match play has grown in popularity, and the unique format provides an opportunity for using a different strategy than what disc golfers typically employ playing traditional stroke play. The event also allows amateurs another opportunity to experience tournament disc golf at the highest level.

How?
Look for a bracket near you and sign up to play! Registration for players will conclude on June 15th.

Free entry into a two round singles stroke play B-Tier on Saturday, October 9th, if they do not advance to bracket play on Saturday.

Awards and Details for the Championship Bracket in Emporia

FIRST PLACE – $14K VALUE

18 Veteran baskets and 18 tee signs to be used wherever the champion wants! ($8K value)

Dynamic Discs will ship 18 portable or permanent Veteran baskets and 18 tee sign frames to the champion. These baskets could be donated to a local park that needs new baskets, go towards a new course (public or private), or any other creative place the champion chooses!

Discs for Life – 10 years of discs! ($6K value) – Life sounds better than 10 years. It is really 10 years.

Dynamic Discs will provide the champion with a $1,000 credit at dynamicdiscs.com. On the first of each year (from 2021-2030), $500 will be added to the champion’s dynamicdiscs.com account to be used on discs and merchandise.

SECOND PLACE – $5K VALUE
