Welcome to the Triple Turkey Threat 2020

If you have never played a big Silva Acres tournament, then you are in for a treat…literally. We won’t spoil the surprise for first timers, but trust us when we say you won’t be disappointed that you came.

A little house keeping before you come:

1. No rounds are being played at Western Gateway Park in Penn Valley. The entire tournament was moved to Silva Acres in Nevada City.

2. If you or a teammate is sick, you must stay home. If we take a temperature and discover 100+ F fever, the team is forfeited.

3. We recommend that you park your cars on the roads surrounding Pioneer Park because the main parking lots have a 2 hour limit. We’ve never seen anyone get a ticket, but we’d hate for you to be the first. It also leaves more room for people who are using the park (which is not us). So park on Park Ave, then walk through the parking lot to a small gate in the fence (past the horseshoe pits…small while flags will guide you). 4. We will strive to pair newbies with a team who has played the course before, for the first round. But try to pay attention to where you are, during play, to help with following rounds. If your card is newbie + newbie. Be patient, and ask other players around you for guidance.

Most importantly, please have fun! Our primary reason for running this tournament is to raise money for the Nevada County Food Bank. But this little private course is in its best shape ever, so the disc golf will be an adventure, guaranteed.
