Why did the people allowed drop from 30 to 24

Allowed to start after you have your discs. The flex start officially begins at 10. The number dropped because DD ran out of player packs which is a good but unfortunate problem.

Where could I find all the rule I'd like to read up as this is the first time iv ever done something like this

Basically, the only rules are: You get 3 discs, you play the round with those 3 discs and only those discs. Best score at the end of the event gets prizes!

I wont be able to start my round until 1pm, but am wondering if I could get my players pack earlier in the morning? Thanks.

yes. you can stop by and grab your players pack early.
