CARDMATE REQUESTS - Yall, lets be very honest with each other, there's a LOT going on and I'm doing my best. If you want to play with a certain person during Round 1, I am happy to try. BUT - you're going to need to check with me first thing Saturday morning and we'll make changes BEFORE the board is posted. After the board is out, there are no changes, and Round 2 is set up by score.

Remember, if you join the tournament, your custom stamps will not be available until after the tournament. Also, if you drop at this point, your refunded fees will be reduced to cover the costs of your custom stamp (which is completed), and you'll still get your stamp.

FJ10, FJ12 - These girls will be playing 9 holes at Lincoln in the morning, and another 9 holes at Lincoln in the afternoon...for a total of 18 holes in a very protracted single round in their tournament. They will enjoy a lovely tour guide to help them through the course, providing assistance with scorekeeping and tournament procedures, and a wagon will be pulled to acco ... more

Hey Juniors! Here's some info for you:

Current Layout Plan (subject to change and group decisions by the girls):

FJ10, FJ12 - These girls will be playing 9 holes at Lincoln in the morning, and another 9 holes at Lincoln in the afternoon...for a total of 18 holes in a very protracted single round in their tournament. They will enjoy a lovely tour guide to help them through the course, providing assistance with scorekeeping and tournament procedures, and a wagon will be pulled to accommodate all their bags (and snacks and drinks and rides if they get too tired). Musical playlist will be selected by the girls, taking turns, and hopefully including tee pad dance parties and stops to sing favorite show tunes and disney songs. LET IT GOOOOOO, LET IT GOOOOOO!!!

FJ15 - These girls will be enjoying a more traditional tournament experience, with 2 18-hole rounds. First, an 18-hole round in the morning at Lincoln Avenue (red to white), and another 18-hole round in the afternoon at Nature Park (red to white). If the girls decide otherwise, they can group decision to 9-holes in the afternoon...but we all have to agree. A group tour guide will not be provided, but a designated "responsible adult/parent" will be along with the group to help with tournament procedure and scoring. Also encouraged - good playlists and dance parties.

Parents - Please plan to caddy for your daughter, but have confidence if you've got >1 child that we'll have other responsible adults around to watch her have a great round (and help as needed). I'll be adjusting divisions as we've discussed to allow for competition. All girls will be receiving prizes and awards, regardless of their finishing place. The main goal here is a FUN, GOOD Tournament Experience for them, and hopefully fostering a love of this sport and healthy competition.

If I get on the FA70 waitlist will I be guaranteed a spot prior to the day of the tournament? Have to juggle life at home in preparation.

We have filled up one of the pools, and the others are nearly at capacity too! If you'd like to play, please sign up for the waitlist! I will try to accommodate everyone for this tournament, so make your plans to attend (even if on the waitlist!).

Hey Ladies!! AMAZING NEWS!! WE FILLED THE TOURNAMENT!!! HOLY MOLY!!!!! There are more ladies that want to play, so lets make that happen for them!

I have added pools to the registration, and all the divisions have been divided up. In order to add more ladies, keep the cards at 4 ladies/card (for social distancing and all), we need to add another park. So, lucky for us, Lincoln Avenue Park is down the road, and personally one of my very favorite places to play!! I suspect you all will appreciate its quick play, reachable holes, flat terrain, and general awesomeness. The pools will be playing courses as follows:
Pool A - AM: Nature Park; PM: Nature Park.
Pool B - AM: Lincoln Ave Park; PM: Nature Park
Pool C - AM: Nature Park; PM: Lincoln Ave Park
Pool D - Lincoln Ave - This will be a modified, shortened tournament designed for the Juniors.

Tournament Central will be operated out of Nature Park, so please make plans to join us!! We will only use Lincoln for play, all other activities and time will be at Nature Park. (for real, I think we can hear chains from one at the other, they're that close!)

Additionally, I hope we can encourage some JUNIOR LADIES to come play! I have made a separate pool just for them (see above), where they will be only playing at Lincoln, in a very modified and abbreviated fashion, tailored to the girls that are registered and their approximate skill level. In other words, the 11yo girl that rarely plays can enjoy a "rated round" that is fun, quick, and ENJOYABLE! Please, if you know any young ladies that would love to play, sign them up! If they're your daughter or would need help with an adult chaperone, we will have very trustworthy and awesome volunteers available that will escort them throughout the tournament, helping with rules, and encouraging them to do their very best!

Lastly, regarding players packs, did you know that due to the pandemic, Disc Golf has EXPLODED with players?? Well, surprise! IT DID! YIPPEEE!! The (unfortunate for us) side effect of this awesome growth is that the shelves at the manufacturers warehouses are bare! That means we've got some slim pickin's when it comes to players pack discs. I am working on a fun and exciting players pack for everyone, but its taking just a moment longer to sort out the details. Thanks for hanging with me while we pivot to make this event amazing!
