We figured during this time of social distancing, we could have a little fun with this. It only requires 2 people be around each other at any time.
The GSDGC Match play series will follow match play rules.
Match play is a form of play where a player plays directly against an opponent in a head-to-head match. You win a hole by completing it in the fewest number of strokes, and you win a match when you are winning by more holes than remain to be played. You (or your opponent) may concede a stroke, a hole, or even the match to each other.
Each Division will have its own bracket. A losers bracket will also come into play as the winner of both brackets face off to crown the champion of the division.
Players will be matched up each week starting in the winners bracket and moving on from there. You will receive an e-mail stating who you will be playing. You will get together with the person you are matched up with, and decide on a course you want to play. This can be any course you two agree on. You must have 1 witness present for the whole round.
Entry will be $20 for club members, and $25 for non club members. Sign ups will be on disc golf scene. I set the date for a week out. I will adjust it out farther until we fill. We will not start this up until its full. All communication will be done threw this event page to make it easier. When you buy in, it is your responsibility to keep up to date with this page, and communicate with the player you are against. You will have one week to complete your round. Monday names will be posted, and scores must be submitted by messaging this event page by sunday evening. less
