Hey Mo,

I did the refund/cancellation on Sept. 13. Didn’t realize it hadn’t been processed until the players meeting email. Can you take me off the list and refund me when you can? Thanks

Hi is there any way to know a more accurate tee time for MA2 ? Trying to see if the tourney will conflict with work. Thank you!

Hi Hueston! The MA2 tee times will be between 10 and noon. Hope that helps.

Joe Caissie   October 14, 2019 at 9:33pm

Same range for MA1? Earlier? Later?

Mahmoud Bahrani   October 16, 2019 at 1:24am

Hey Joseph! Barring any late changes, the MA1 tee times will be at 11:30, 11:45, or 12:00

Hi Mo. Unfortunately, I need to withdraw from the Firefly tournament. Please refund my MA2 entry fee at your earliest convenience. I will still sponsor hole 17 so keep that fee.
Thank you. Jon

Will do Coach!

I have requested a refund through the withdraw link a few times and have still to have it go through. I need to withdraw due to the finalization of my team challenge schedule and our first match being on the 19th. Thanks, Bill.

Absolutely, I'll refund you right now

Bill Herra   September 10, 2019 at 11:30pm

Thanks. I got an email that the refund was issued, but am still showing as register for the tournament?

Mahmoud Bahrani   September 16, 2019 at 2:54pm

Hi Bill! That's a mistake on my end, I will update that right now

Jon Reid    August 16, 2019 at 1:58pm

Hi Mo. Sorry to bother you again on this but I have reconsidered and would like to be moved to MA2. I am more interested in earning pdga points than disc hut bucks because I want to qualify for AM Worlds next year. Please make the move and refund the difference. Sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks Jon

I believe that all of your AM points aggregate towards your primary division. Read in more detail here: https://www.pdga.com/2019amworlds/invites/criteria

Joe Caissie   August 28, 2019 at 8:27pm

I've gotten the same answer from someone else so I'm inclined to think you're right, but I don't think that link clarifies anything. They should give an MA2 example if they want to make it clear that non-MA1 points can qualify you.

Bob Kulchuk   September 3, 2019 at 4:28pm

All Amateur points aggregate towards an Amateur Worlds qualification. You are granted a bid in your primary division (if you are aged 19-39, that division would be MA1). Note that ONLY Advanced divisions are offered at Worlds. There is no MA2 or MA3 divisions offered at Worlds...any points that you do gather playing in MA2 WILL count towards your total amateur points though.

What is MA1 payout/% of field?

Mahmoud Bahrani   August 9, 2019 at 1:05pm

Unless something strange happens, probably 45%

Jon Reid    July 29, 2019 at 2:40pm

Hi Mahmoud. Can I jump from MA50 to MA2 and get the difference refunded? Also, what is the difference in prizes between those divisions? Thanks

MA50 will be playing for Disc Hut Bucks. MA2 is trophy only.

Jon Reid   August 2, 2019 at 12:14am

Ok. Very convincing argument. I'll stay where I am. Great bunch of guys too!
