Hello Everybody!

Thanks for being a part of the 2019 iteration of our Enduro Bowl. As most of you already know, two full rounds of DeLa is a true test of mental and physical golf skill. So, no wimps, no whiners!

Just a couple of things to go over before we hit the course tomorrow. First off, in previous years, this tournament has been a canned food drive. So, brings those cans! Though not mandatory, we want to keep this tradition alive. The food is a little different this year. In previous years, we have had homemade chili available for the competitors. This year, we have invited the Daisy Chains crew to come out and provide a sandwich bar for a $5 donation. All proceeds of the sandwich bar will go directly to help make Daisy Chains a continuing success.

Parking is always a big issue during Enduro, and this year will be no exception. The upper and lower lot will be open on a first come first served basis. Please remember that the parking is in fact being ENFORCED. That means the $2 parking passes are needed, AND NO DOUBLE PARKING. You will be asked to move your car if you try to do so. The lower lot has the same rules, remember your parking pass and no double parking. Please carpool if possible. Lake parking will be open as well for no charge.

Remember, this is a PDGA sanctioned event, so please observe all PDGA rules while competing. All course and park rules are in effect as well, and our staff does not want to have to enforce these. It is entirely possible that Rangers will come up and check in on us. Don’t be made an example. The course is in fact closed to anyone not in the tournament. If you know of anyone planning to play that isn’t already in the tournament, kindly remind them of the other amazing local courses that we are lucky to have, that are open to play.

The break this year will once again be short. But we will be reshuffling cards for the 2nd round. We will also be fighting daylight towards the end of the event so please observe the 3 minute rule for any lost discs. AM’s script will be made out to the DeLa shack where it must be redeemed all in one transaction. The winner of each division will once again be awarded the DeLa Enduro Championship ring!

I’m sure there’s something I’m forgetting to mention, but hey, that’s what players meetings are for. We request that EVERYONE be present for the players meeting starting at 8:30. We will shotgun start at 9am. Make sure to get some rest tonight, hydrate, and be ready for a full day of beautiful DeLa.
