Hey Timo. I've always stayed at Santa Cruz Redwoods RV Resort. It's a reasonably priced stay if you have a tent or camper and it offers beautiful surroundings among the redwoods/river.

You could also check out hotels that are in the surrounding area of the disc golf course and see what is available. Prices for hotel accommodations might be getting pricey because it is getting closer to summer. I would recommend checking out AirBnB if you are looking for accommodations for a family.

thanks for info guys....I'm heading to Aptos tomorrow for a coaches clinic and should be able to catch a round and Dela....I've never played that course, you think there are players who would show me the course?

The course will likely be very busy tomorrow so Im sure someone up there would be able to show you around. At the very least, you could follow other groups that will be playing.

I guess what I was meaning to ask was if there would be any age-protected divisions for women at the A Tier event. As it stands now, this is a men's only event.

Hi Jenn. For the pro event weekend, we have not yet seen enough demand to warrant age-protected divisions. We do have age-protected divisions for women at our Amateur A-tier event 2 weeks prior to the Pro event though.

If you do not offer the division, how are you supposed to gauge the demand? Wouldn't it be better to offer a masters women's division, then collapse it in a couple of weeks if it doesn't fill?

You might be right Robert, though in all the years I've been involved in the Masters Cup, I've haven't had even 1 request for age protected division, nor do we see the demand regionally. I don't discount your suggestion though.

There are a lot of women who play FPM in the Poppy Series. There is and has been, plenty of demand in NorCal ladies golf for FPM players to populate the division. Sometimes, even moreso than FPO.

This is a destination tournament. I am sure that if you were to open a 4 person wpm division, I bet it would fill. Maybe not in the first few days, but give them a chance to network and it will.

Ok so zero replies and zero FP40 registrations since I created the division. Will hold for 3 weeks and then fold back into FPO if we don't get at least 3.

Hi Braden, I am very interested in the FP40 division, I was waiting until I get up to Santa Cruz to pay in person and avoid the large fee. I can do that on Friday morning. Where will you be?
