Join the Honolulu Disc Golf Association (HDGA) for the 2018 Flyin' Hawaiian State Championships. This is a PDGA C Tier event that will be held at the beautiful Ho'omaluhia Botanical Garden. Come experience this challenging temporary course setup just for this event!
Where is Ho'omaluhia Botanical Garden?
The Hoʻomaluhia Botanical Garden is located at 45-680 Luluku Road, Kāne'ohe, Oahu, Hawaii 96744.
The two-day event will include two rounds of 18 on Saturday, and one round of 18 followed by a final 9 on Sunday.
Final determination of the rounds played each day will be determined at tee-off, at the discretion of the tournament director.
*Final determination of Divisions will be made prior to the start of the tournament. If there are fewer than 4 players in any division, that division may be collapsed into a related division (i.e. Grandmaster division could be collapsed into the Master division).
Event Format:
Saturday, September 22:
Players Meeting: 9:45am at the Kahua Nui Pavilion
Tee Time: Approx 10:15am.
Sunday, September 23:
Players Meeting: 9:30am sharp at the Kahua Nui Pavilion
Tee Time: Approx 10:00am
Open players. 100% payout.
Practice Round on Friday, September 21:
Practice Round: We should have the course available for practice or to hold a doubles round, by mid-afternoon on Friday, September 21 (time: TBD). It really depends on how much assistance we have setting up the course. Keep checking the HDGA website (https://www.honoululdiscgolf.com), or our Facebook page closer to the event date for more details.
Camping will be available all weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and FREE for all registered players and their guests!
Parking Pass for the Weekend:
Please make sure to stop in at the Visitor's Center on your way into the park and pick up a parking pass for the weekend. All cars are required to have a parking pass, if they are in the park after 4:00PM.
Gate Openings:
The gate at Ho'omaluhia Botanical Garden is open daily from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, cars with permits or car passes may use these later gate times below:
Openings:
5:30 pm – 6:30 pm (entrance and exits)
9:00 pm – 9:15 pm (for exits only)
Amateur divisions will be "True Amateur". Players will receive a players pack and top finishers in each division will receive trophies.
AM player's pack will include an event stamped disc, and event t-shirt. Players must register by September 8th to guarantee an event t-shirt.
There will be an ACE pool of $5 on Saturday, and $5 on Sunday. If no Ace is hit either day, there will be two CTP throw offs, one for each day.
For the CTP each day. There will be two winners each day. One for Open players, and one for AM players.
The Awards Ceremony will take place immediately following the event, once the scorecards are turned in and all calculated. less

Allen where do I go to to be a sponsor "Disc Golf In Paradise". It seems I have to register all over again.
