Is the random draw dubs on Friday open to anyone, or invite only?

Open to anyone and everyone. Thank you for your interest.

Brian “Teach” Fahnestock   December 28, 2017 at 9:47pm

Sweet. Thx.

I signed up for pro grandmasters because I started taking money. However, my qualifying rounds were in MA2. Put me where you think I should play. Thanks.

I moved you to Intermediate (MA2). You are required to play in the division that you qualified for. Because your rating is below 935 and this is a B Tier event, you are eligible to play Intermediate, even though you took cash previously. This is based on the PDGA's Table 3: PDGA Tour Player Divisions, Ratings & Point Factors under the Pros Playing Ams section.

Thank you for your interest in this tournament. It is invitation only. We are inviting based on the # of qualifying rounds. You can see your statistics @ www.fabflatour.org

When are the invitations going to be extended out to all players with points? And will the tournament be cancelled if not enough register?

Ben Champion   December 19, 2017 at 3:26am

Tournament will not be cancelled. More invites in about 2 days. Invites are being sent based on # of qualifying rounds. 12, then 10, then 8, etc, until tournament fills.

How can we find out how many qualifying rounds we have?

Ben Champion   December 5, 2017 at 3:48am

Fabflatour.org tournaments not updated to today though. You get qualifying rounds for each tournament thay you finish in the top 1/3 or places 1st-3rd for smaller divisions. Florida Disc Golf Championship on Facebook for news.

Samantha M    November 28, 2017 at 5:27pm

If this tournament doesn’t fill will registration open to everyone? We are 2 out of towners who will be in Florida the 29th-5th of January looking for events!

Ben Champion   November 29, 2017 at 9:41am

Possibly, but invitations will be sent to everyone with points first.

Josiah Gorman   December 6, 2017 at 7:07pm

Do you have an eta when it will be open to those without a registration?

Ben Champion   December 7, 2017 at 8:53am

Sometime after South Florida Open, Dec 18 I believe. Next year's season will run from Nov 30, 2017 to Nov 29, 2018 so that invites can go out earlier.

Kevin Nollmeyer    November 27, 2017 at 7:59pm

Must you be a pdga member to play in this?

Ben Champion   November 27, 2017 at 8:49pm

No. However, normal $10 fee to PDGA for non-PDGA members.

Justin Darr    November 25, 2017 at 7:56pm

So how do I get invited, trying to sign up!!!

Ben Champion   November 26, 2017 at 4:08am

Need 12 qualifying rounds for an invite at this stage. That may be reduced later if your division is not full. You have 8 qualifying rounds at the moment. A qualifying round is each round in a tournament for which you finish 1st, 2nd or 3rd place OR in the top 1/3 of your division.

mick Barber Sr.   December 1, 2017 at 1:38pm

Do the qualifying rounds have to be in specific tournaments?

Ben Champion   December 1, 2017 at 6:32pm

Any sanctioned tournament in the state of florida is my understanding
