Once again, I'd like to thank everyone who helped make this event run smooth and a great time for all.
Ej Wernet -- Distance Competition assistance, including marking distances in the field and supplying flags and markers for the game. Also for helping with Round 1 scores and general support. And helping with lunch for all my helpers by getting a great deal on some delicious pizza from the Beach Club Bistro

Kipper Kendzierski -- Helping with round 1 and round 2 score verification and helping me clean up at the end of the event

Mike Hammontree -- 2 cases of water donated and Distance Competition assistance, including supplying some extra MVP Disc Sports and Axiom Discs molds for the fun.

i'm looking for a few people to help with the side games at the 2015 MVP Circuit Event at Sims Park this Saturday. specifically looking for help on the Around 9 game (monitor and keep scores), the Putter Distance Shot (monitor and mark best shot), and the Driver Distance Shot (monitor and mark best shot). if you are registrant, i will let you choose your discs ahead of time to ensure you get the color and/or weights you want. i will buy lunch for those nice enough to assist. let me know if interested!!!

I will also be raffling off one of the new Double Chain Baskets MVP is selling at this event. This will be a random draw raffle, with all proceeds going to the course in Painesville. It will be a $3 entry fee, to ensure I cover the cost of the basket. Multiple entries will be allowed, with 4 entries for $10 and 10 entries for $20 if you feel so inclined. There will also be a $2 ace fund, with payout by CTP if the ace is not hit. If the ace is not hit though, 1/2 the fund will be also donated to the course in Painesville. So with the side games and raffles and ace fund, there will be ample opportunity to win something at this event. There will also be 3 CTPs during round 2. They will be decided upon the day of the event (weather / park traffic).

We will play one round of the standard 20 hole layout. The second round will consist of a 9 hole layout, playing holes 3-11. There will be side games after for some random prizes, including the following games: Ring of Fire putting game (at hole 16 basket to be done immediately after 2nd round), Around 9 putting game (at hole 17 basket), Putter Driving competition (in field near hole A), and a Driver Distance Competition (hole 12). Each game after the Ring of Fire will be stations (if I can find some volunteers to help ;) ) so that people can move from one game to the other and keep it moving. These games are optional, but prizes will be awarded for the winners of each (discs and possibly other random goodies). If you have any questions, or want to help out, let me know! Thanx!

As with registration, this will be handled as prepay only to ensure people get exactly what they want. I will create invoices for any orders, and payment will be handled by Paypal FF or cold hard cash. The order will be placed around July 18th, so any items that are needed will need to be communicated and paid for before this time. I may order some extras, but that all depends on the interest. The prices for the discs are better than what you will find anywhere else. The majority of other items are also below MSRP. If you see something missing from this list you may want, message me and I'll see what I can do.

And all proceeds from sales of MVP items will be going to the new course in Painesville (Kiwana's Rec Park). So anything you order will help us expand this course to an 18 hole course in the near future. For those unaware, the first 9 holes will be going in sometime in late July. The funds for this will help with replenishing the club fund and anything we can do to improve the course down the road, such as extra holes and/or tees.

We are now listed on the MVP Circuit Event Calendar so it's official!!! 8/1/15 will be the date! I'll have registration open this weekend via Paypal. THIS EVENT WILL BE PREREGISTRATION ONLY!!! I have to cover the cost of player packs and will possibly get a few extra. But to guarantee your spot, you will have to prepay. Cash can always be given to me in person, but it will have to be before the July 7th cutoff.

There is also an opportunity to buy custom stamped tourney discs to sell at this event. Once I get more information on this, I will figure out a way to set this up separate from registration for those who are interested. All proceeds from this event will be going to the course, and the price of discs will be a few ($2-3) dollars more than cost, with all monies made going back to the course. This should still leave the price below retail and help the course out. So it's win win. Let me know if you have any comments or questions.
