I'm out of commission for a while untill I get my knee rehabbed... I have an MRI scheduled in a few weeks.

I really appreciate the support and concern of the 2nd round card I played with at the NAAC. Daniel Winsor, Logan Miller, special thanks to Matt "Bulldog" Bolduc for your concern and checking in on me later and my caddy Jeff Sego for helping me back to my trailer to ice my knee down.

Thank you Gwillim for talking me into hanging out and drinking my pain and misery away with a few ice cold drafts! I'm sure I got my entry fees back in pints!

I'll be back playing the 2013 NAAC for redemption. This tournament presents the legitimacy of disc golf in ways that few others do.

Next Adventure Amateur Championships 2012 was a fantastic event! Thank you to Next Adventure (You are the BEST!!), Firefly Disc Golf, Steve Carson and Ryan Gwillim and thier event staff, DISCRAFT, INNOVA, LAT. 64, VOODOO DISC GOLF, HUK LAB, THE FOOD PEEPS and THE MUSIC PEEPS! Each year this tourney gets bigger and better. I was able to enjoy playing in this tourney with my son, Rob. His first major tourney and our first of many in the future. Congratulations to all the Division Winners and job well done to all the participants of the tourney. Especially to the ONLY Ace winner of the $1500 Ace Pot!! THATS RIGHT!! FIFTEEN HUNDRED BUCKS TO SPEND AT NEXT ADVENTURE!! Can you say SHOPPING SPREE!! If you didnt get into the NAAC this year and want a shot at a projected to be larger Ace Pot next year, BE THERE!! Just a few hours until player's start teeing off for the 2012 Next Adventure Amateur Championship. Here's what you need to know for the weekend.

Pool A is Advanced Men, Advanced Women and Adv. Masters
Pool B is Intermediate Men, Intermediate Women and Adv. Grandmasters
Pool B check-in runs from 7:00-7:30 a.m.
Pool A check-in runs from 10:00-10:30 a.m.
All players will receive their player's pack after their first round
The baskets will all be in the short positions on Saturday
The baskets will all be in the long positions on Sunday
There will be approximately 2.5 hrs between rounds on Saturday
Lunch is not provided on Saturday
Next Adventure is providing Lunch and Dinner on Sunday
Tournament Central is at the shelter at approximately 9999 N James St
Players that finish in the top 50% will receive a scrip certificate to Next Adventure in an amount proportional to how well you finish. You can redeem your scrip during normal business hours at Next Adventure

Guests and caddies are welcome to join you for the festivities on Sunday
The final 9 competition is a skins match for the top four players from the weekend regardless of division
Everyone has been entered into the ace pot worth $1,500 in script to Nexgt Adventure
The award ceremony is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Sunday
The final raffle for tons of prizes including a VooDoo Disc Golf bag and a Discatcher Basket will be immediately following the award ceremony and you must be present to win.

The top four players from all divisions will be invited to play an additional final 9 holes Sunday using a skins format for an additional $100 (scrip) "skin" per hole.
