Where can player packs be picked up?

Also will there be water stations through the course for this event? Thanks

Kevin Carder   September 28 at 3:00am

Players packs are all at McClelland. Will be available all day tomorrow and Sunday. Yes, there will be water

Fernanda B   September 28 at 3:02am

How early can player packs be picked up there?

Michael Cory   September 28 at 3:23am

Should be ready around 7:30 or possibly a little before.

Lost my precious child, a pink dyed Explorer on hole 18 Lion in tall grass left.

Courses look the best I’ve ever seen!

Kevin Amaro   September 28 at 6:20pm

Thank you to whoever found my Explorer.

Good morning, all. Just wanted to hop on here and ask everyone to please be on the lookout for a wallet this weekend. My cousin, Brennan Northrip, lost it last night while we were playing a practice round on Lion Red. This will be his first tournament ever. It has his ID, PDGA card, a $100 bill, as well as various other things in it. Thank you to everyone ahead of time, and good luck this weekend!

Isaac Heinen found it! It's at the pavilion.

Tyler Northrip   September 27 at 6:59pm

Awesome! Thank you, Isaac!

I was really hoping to play ma50 but there's never many in that division. I'm trying to get points accumulated but it's hard to do in divisions with such few players. In recent tournaments I've discovered that many people my age have the same situation so they sign up for ma2 or 3 to get more points because so few joined ma50. My question is, if I sign up for ma50 hoping to get more people to join that division, can I switch to ma2 tomorrow if no more 50s sign up?

Kevin Carder   September 26 at 5:59pm

Absolutely, Troy! Yes, it will be best for us if you make your final decision by close of registration. Good luck!

Where can I find more information about the doubles tournament (where to to show up and when)?

Michael Cory   September 25 at 9:31pm

The doubles tournament is at McClelland Park on Friday from 12 - 5:30. You must have at least two groups to play. We are playing the Eagle layout (Blue for MPO and Red for AM divisions).

matt house    September 24 at 5:42pm

Hope all is well. Just seeing if y’all would show a projected payout to see how the MPO/MP40 money is split up..? I’m either signing up for this event today or another one, and am trying to make the best decision. Thanks for your time.

Andrew Jinks   September 24 at 7:27pm

The $3,000 is split according to the PDGA rules governing minimum required added cash. So as of today with 44 in MPO and 6 in MP40, it would be a 90.2% / 9.8% split between the two divisions. That will continue to change as more Pro Division players sign up.

Troy Miesner    September 24 at 2:15pm

Where can I find out what courses each pool will be playing?

Dillon Spellman   September 24 at 4:08pm

Click 'about' at the top of this tournament page. There's a blue and grey flyer with a course schedules on it.

Troy Miesner   September 25 at 3:35am

Thanks

Will tall grass be OB at Mc?

Michael Cory   September 23 at 7:24pm

It was play as hazard. The hazard areas will be painted and flagged.

Kevin Amaro    September 22 at 2:35pm

Which layout is Lakeside Park for pool C?

Michael Cory   September 23 at 1:57pm

That is a different course in Carl Junction. There is only one layout at that course.

Charles Rector   September 24 at 1:23am

So OG Lakeside? Shorts?

Michael Cory   September 24 at 12:10pm

Yes, OG layout. Also same as last year.

Austin Gehrke    September 22 at 12:41am

Are all amateur divisions trophy only?

Kevin Carder   September 22 at 1:42am

No. Only Rec and Jr

SteelerDoug Kroll    September 21 at 5:55am

Pdga will not allow a $10 fee entry for me to play. I have to pay $50 registration fee since the tournament is prior to 1 Oct. I have been injured all year so have not renewed.
Sad state of affairs pdga membership has become.
Will miss ya'll.

Exactly Michael. Vic of pdga membership said to make sure to enroll to end of year and I should be ok. What he didn't tell me is it would cost me $50, not $10.

SteelerDoug Kroll   September 25 at 2:56am

Why would I pay $50 for end of year 2024 when I can wait till Oct 1st and pay $50 through to 2025. Disappointed pdga. Sad they are going to take away the non membership crier too.

SteelerDoug Kroll   September 25 at 2:57am

Err ctier

Jay Hall    September 18 at 1:00pm

As of right now, MP40 would be getting less then a tenth of the added cash, however, I know there's been talk of not having to add any cash to anything but MPO, my question is- will MP40 be getting their share of the 3k added cash?

Michael Cory   September 18 at 1:11pm

All pro divisions get the added cash split proportionally to the size of their purse compared to the entire pro purse. So to answer your question, yes MP40 will get their share of the added cash.

Kevin Amaro    September 11 at 12:51am

Will practice rounds be possible At McClelland on 09/27?

Michael Cory   September 11 at 12:46pm

Yes. There will be a doubles tournament and tournament check in is available, but the courses will be available for practice as well.

Kevin Amaro   September 12 at 11:50pm

Awesome thank you.

Nicholas Pascuzzi    September 4 at 2:51pm

Which courses will Pool A be playing?

Kevin Carder   September 4 at 3:31pm

Eagle Blue, Lion Blue, Eagle Red

Nicholas Pascuzzi   September 4 at 4:37pm

thank you

Kevin Carder   September 5 at 1:40pm

I read the flyer wrong myself! Third roiund is Eagle Blue, not red. Sorry!

Dixon Jowers    September 2 at 7:27pm

Played Lion and Eagle on Saturday. Nice courses that are well maintained.

However, both me and my playing partner have, literally, at least 100 tick bites on our feet. Is this normal out there?

Such a great course though!

Michael Cory   September 3 at 3:54am

We call them seed ticks and they are very bad this year. Wearing pants is best in those woods. We had a crew working at the course today for 4+hours hauling out debris in the woods (off the fairways) and I came home with only a few seed ticks on me wearing pants and not spraying beforehand.

Rudy Fernandez   September 24 at 4:57pm

I highly recommend Lemon Eucalyptus Oil. They sell it at Bass Pro Shops and it works great. I played Lion Blue two weeks ago in shorts, sprayed that stuff on and not a single bite. Been using it all year.

Dixon Jowers    August 28 at 8:17pm

Are the courses set up in the correct layout currently?

Michael Cory   August 29 at 2:41am

Yes, the Lion and Eagle courses are permanent layouts at McClelland Park. The Red and Blue layouts for each course are all on uDisc. There is still work being done on the courses with tall grass and cleaning up the woods but very much playable.

Dillon is correct.

Itzy Castorena   August 17 at 12:49am

Thank you

Andrew Jinks   August 22 at 1:40pm

Itzy, FA1 will play Eagle Red on the Sunday round, not Eagle Blue.
