Unconfirmed update: As of now I have not received confirmation from the parks department but we should be able to meet mandate requirements for states to allow more people to play with exceptions.

New format will be:
Friday 8/28 AK State Doubles championship
Flex start BYOP doubles (a separate page will be set up for this)
Am/Pro divisions
Playing all am pads
Holes 1-6 Best shot
Holes 7-12 Alternate shot
Holes 13-18 Tough/Worst shot
Price DBT/ Trophies will be awarded

Saturday 8/29
Open Divisions will play 2 rounds from the Pro tees
Note: Am divisions can play trophy only at an additional reduced fee
for the Saturday rounds ($TBD) and a separate registration page will be set up for this feature.

Sunday 8/30
Amateur Divisions will play 2 rounds
1x shorts
1x longs

Covid Disclaimer: We are working with the hand we are being dealt with at the moment. If the mandate is rescinded, we will go back to the cap of 72 player original format. If the field is reduced even further we will cancel states this year and issue refunds. Thanks for hanging tight and being understanding of the situation at hand.

With the new municipal mandates scaling gatherings back to 50 or less we have had to reduce the cap for registration. If you'd like to play the tournament I suggest you secure your spot ASAP. We are looking into changes that could make it possible to have more than 50, but at this point I wouldn't count on it.
