Why your Ice Bowl was the most fun, the weirdest, the hardest-to-play,
a strange or exotic format, etc.
Again featuring our chili cook-off, 9 pots of chili were
submitted/donated to feed and warm up the players between rounds. The
players voted for the winner, crowning Josh "Chef" Schulte as the
champion for the 3rd year in a row.
List people responsible for significant donations. (at least $100 or
100 lbs of food - and tell a bit about how they raised the donations)
Motor City Chain Gang raised $4500 by raffling off 20 Pavel Datsyuk
signed discs with his image and signed by him.
Derek Michilak $803 raised from friends and family.
Metro Detroit Disc Golf League $550 donated from 50/50 throughout 2015
season.
Double Tap putting league $180.
John Zane, Dan James $100 each.
Scott Burnham, teacher at Roberts Elementary, collected about 750 lbs
of food at his school.
If the weather was particularly memorable (such as wind speed,
precipitation type - snow, sleet, rain- ground conditions snow-packed,
slushy, icy etc.)
Raining early in the morning, but the temp dropped and snow fell
before the tournament began. About two inches of snow fell with strong
winds all day.
