PDGA C-Tier Event
$35 Amateur Entry Fee (+$10 PDGA fee for non-current members)
$50 Pro Entry (+$10 PDGA fee for non-current members)
100 PLAYER LIMIT
2 Rounds, 20 holes each round. - 2nd Round will tee off 1 hour after last card finishes 1st Round.
This event is in ORLEANS PARISH. ALL COVID-19 rules and regulations will be in effect and enforced. PLEASE WATCH THE NO TEAM DGC FACEBOOK PAGE FOR UPDATES AND DETAILS. DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS IN ORLEANS PARISH EVERYTHING IS TENTATIVE. IF WE CANT GET THE RIGHT PERMIT OR THE RULES CHANGE, WE MAY HAVE TO CANCEL. (see POT OF GOLD FOR WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF CANCELATION.)
Tee assignments:
All Pro divisions: 1st round red tees, 2nd round gold tees
Advanced, Intermediate, and Advanced Masters: 1st round red tees, 2nd round gold tees
Recreational, Advanced Grandmasters, and Intermediate/Recreational Women will play the red tees both rounds
Registration will close on December 4th or when the tournament fills, which ever happens first. If you need to withdraw, refunds will be given only if you notify the TD of withdrawal on or before 12/1/20, and your spot is filled. If your spot is not filled, Ams keep your players pack items. Pros may be refunded minus park and tournament handling fees.
NO PLAYERS MEETING – All announcements about rules, tee assignments, sponsors, etc. will be made on the Facebook Event page. Check your tee assignment, show up on time at your assigned tee, and LET’S PLAY SOME DISC GOLF!!
Online scoring will be done through the PDGA Official Scoring app at pdga.com/score and its use is MANDATORY (designate one player to keep score the whole round) paper scorecards will only be provided as a backup. Players will check in virtually via the PDGA scoring app website. OB's and Mandos are on the digital PDGA scorecard. This information, along with the access code, will also be sent to all players electronically via email before the tournament.
NO LUNCH PROVIDED – To maintain social distancing, players are encouraged to pack a lunch and enjoy it outside at the course – SOCIALLY DISTANT STYLE of course. Or pop over to one of our local eateries, but hurry back ya’ll.
NO AWARDS CEREMONY – We will post the results online. Winners will be allowed to come pick up prizes after the tournament at the course.
NO SPECTATORS – Spectators are not allowed at this event.
NO KEG – No keg, no crowd around the keg. We will have water spread out on the course.
NO TEAM!
We wish it could be a typical NO Team City Park blowout, but 2020 and all… So, let’s focus on having a good competition. Hopefully by doing out part to control the spread we can have bigger, better, more normal events like 2021 Pot of Gold!
