The 2024 WYOPEN disc golf tournament presented by Dynamic Discs.
Saturday August 10 2-round C-tier Event at Drycreek Parkway disc golf course in Cheyenne. 85% payout for pros. Am players will receive a disc in their players pack and a prizes for top 40%
-Friday Doubles. 6pm start Doubles at drycreek parkway disc golf course. check in 515-545. This is non-sanctioned, Tournament, layout, preview, random doubles,
- Saturday check in at tournament tables near hole 1 at drycreek parkway disc golf course from 9-935. Players meeting at 945 and round 1 will start tentatively at 10. Round one layout will be short, and round two layout will be long. Juniors can play shortened layout or the full layout.
The tournament will be a shotgun start. Scoring will be on PDGA. all PGA rules apply and no 2 m rule. Tournament central will be near hole 1 and please come to tournament central after round 1 for starting time for round 2. (at least 1 hrs after last card) All course notes will be on PDGA
Round 2 will be after the lunch break. We will have a player meeting at tournament central. If divisions are large enough, we will regroup based on scores for round 2. Again, after round 2 check in with tournament directors at the tournament central. We will have Awards after round 2. We will also have a throw off for the ace money if no ace is it hit during the tournament.
- Sunday leagues with the Laramie county disc golf club. Check in from 930 to 10 start at 10.
Goals for event: Make the event as awesome as we can for all the participants. Grow disc golf in communities around WY. We are working to get more sponsors for the event.
