About this tournament
2 rounds of play
This is a one-day, two-round C-Tier for pros and amateurs at Westy Acres. The Winterberry Open also features camping and a glow round on Saturday night. This tournament at Westy Acres offers five tournament layouts, suitable for everyone from first-time players to elite professionals. All players Pro and Amatuer will receive a Winterberry Open shirt and $35 in swag money; both get trophies for most podium finishers. More details below.

Tournament 18 Layout
Gold Tees - MPO, MP40
Blue Tees - MP50, MA1, MA40, MJ18
White Tees - FPO, FA1, FP40, FP50, MA2, MA50, MA60, MJ15
Red Tees - MA3, FA40, MJ12, MA4, FA2, FA50, FA60, FJ18
Purple Tees - FA3, FJ15, FJ12
Division layouts are subject to change based on division sizes. Divisions might also be consolidated based on division sizes.
EVENT FEES
The entry fee for this event varies by division.
From each entry, the following will be deducted:
- $3 to the PDGA
- $2 to bathrooms
- $5 to greens fees which pays for course upkeep
- $3 TD Fee used to cover event costs
- The remainder of each Pro entry will be applied directly to the cost of awards and to the payout for that division.
- The remainder of each Amateur entry will be used to cover the cost of their player pack, division awards and then applied to the payout for that division.
REFUNDS
Players who withdraw at least 30 days before an event will receive a full refund minus a $10 fee as per PDGA guidelines. See more details below.
TROPHIES
Divisions with 13 or more players will have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies. Divisions with 5-12 players will have 1st and 2nd place trophies. Divisions with 3-4 players will have 1st place trophies only.
Note that divisions of fewer than 3 players will be considered for merging after consulting with affected players.
PAYOUTS
Pro Payouts: We will payout 40% of the Pro divisions. Payouts will be issued via Paypal or Venmo within 48 hours of completion of the event.
Amateur Payouts: We will payout 45% of the Amateur divisions. All amateur divisions play for merchandise credit at Disc Golf Center.
All pro payouts will be done through PayPal to the email you registered with unless a different email or a Venmo account name is specified for the Electronic Payment Account in the registration form.
PLAYERS PACKS
All players who register will receive a Winterberry Open event shirt. All players can upgrade this item to a performance jersey or a polo by selecting this option during registration for a small added cost.
All AM players will receive $35 in merchandise credit at Disc Golf Center (https://www.discgolfcenter.com). This can be used towards any purchase at Disc Golf Center and is not limited to $35.
PLAYERS MEETING
Players will receive an email prior to the event with all event information.

CHECK-IN
All players should check-in on the stage when they arrive in the morning.
Please note that the speed limit on town roads leading to Westy Acres is 25 MPH. Please do not exceed it—show respect for the neighbors. Players caught speeding will be banned from future events at Westy Acres.

Weather permitting, there will be a glow round on Saturday night, October 18th.
CAMPING
Camping will be available for the weekend at Westy Acres near the farm holes (C,D,E,F). A limited number of RV / Van / Trailer / Tent sites are available for a $10 donation. A porta-potty will be available near the camping area.
The camping area has separate vehicle access from the course and is adjacent to hole 11. The address will be included in the information emailed to participants.
The camping area is available for setup starting at Noon on Friday, October 17th.

All refunds will follow the PDGA Policy in 1.03 of the Competition Manual (https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/103). A $10 fee will be assessed to all refund requests as outlined in the PDGA Policy.
Summary:
100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before the event (by Thursday, September 18, 2025).
50% refund if canceled at least 15 days prior (by Friday, October 3, 2025).
25% refund if canceled before 48 hours prior (by Thursday, October 16, 2025).
No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of the event start.
Exception: A full refund will be given if a player's spot is filled from the waitlist.
Refunds will not be issued after registration closes.
