About this tournament

WESTY OPEN WEEKEND (WOW) - Pro / Am B-tier

We have an entire week of disc golfing planned for you this year. It begins with the Franklin County Cup on June 22 and concludes with WOW '25 on June 28th and 29th. More information and registration are available below.

WOW '25 is a two-day, two-round, tee-time B-tier event at Westy Acres for Pros and Amateurs. The first round is on Saturday, June 28th, and the final round is on Sunday, June 29th.

We also have the Franklin County Cup on Sunday, June 22nd, which is a team-challenge style match and stroke play event. On Tuesday, June 24th, there is the Westy Random Doubles League. On Thursday, June 26th, the Westy Tags League takes place. On Friday, June 27th, there is a Bring Your Own Partner Doubles event, and a glow round is planned for Saturday night, June 28th. Camping is available for the entire week at Westy Acres. More information is below.

EVENT FEES
The entry fee for this event varies by division.
From each entry, the following will be deducted:
- $4 to the PDGA
- $3 to bathrooms
- $10 to greens fees which pays for course upkeep
- $2 Series Fee to pay for prizes and trophies
- $4 TD fee donated to support the event
- The remainder of each Pro entry will be applied directly to the cost of awards and to the payout for that division.
- The remainder of each Amateur entry will be used to cover the cost of their player pack and division awards and then applied to the payout for that division.

REFUNDS
Players who withdraw at least 30 days before an event will receive a full refund minus a $10 fee as per PDGA guidelines. See more details below.

PAYOUTS
Pro Payouts: We will payout 40% of the Pro divisions. Payouts will be issued via Paypal or Venmo within 48 hours of the event's completion.
Amateur Payouts: We will payout 45% of the Amateur divisions. All amateur divisions play for merchandise credit at DiscGolfCenter (https://www.discgolfcenter.com).

AWARDS
Awards will be presented on Sunday approximately 15 minutes after the last card is in for each division.

There will be trophies for first through third place in every division, except for divisions with less than 10 players (based on the number of players signed up by May 1st).

PLAYERS PACKS
All amateur players who register before June 1st will receive a Westy Open Weekend t-shirt. Pro players who register before June 1st can purchase a Westy Open Weekend t-shirt. All players can upgrade this item to a performance jersey or a polo by selecting this option during registration.

After registration closes, all AM players will receive a $25 credit to Disc Golf Center (discgolfcenter.com) to pick their own player pack. This can be used towards any purchase at Disc Golf Center and is not limited to $25.

TEE TIMES
Round 1 tee times will be posted before the event after registration closes.
Round 2 tee times will be posted Saturday night.

Players will receive an email with all event information prior to the event.

CHECK-IN
Pre-tournament check-in is required for players before the first round. All players must arrive at least 30 minutes before the posted tee time.

Pre-tournament check-in will also be available Friday evening (6/27) between 3PM and 8PM at Tournament Central on the stage.

Players must also check in with the starter no less than 5 minutes prior to their tee time each day and be present at the starting hole for the 5 minutes preceding their tee time each day. (See PDGA Competition Manual Section 1.04)

CAMPING
Camping will be available for the week at Westy Acres near hole C of the 27-hole layout. A limited number of RV / Van / Trailer sites are available for a $15 donation, and walk-in primitive tent camping sites will be available for a $5 donation. Plan on carrying your gear approximately one hole length to the tent area. There will be a porta-potty available near the camping area.

The camping area has separate vehicle access from the course and is adjacent to hole 11. The address will be included in the information emailed to participants.

WESTY MONTHLY POINTS SERIES
The Westy Monthly Points series will consist of the Westy Monthly C-Tiers plus Westy Open Weekend (WOW) '25 and the Tri-State Championship in August.

Refund policy

All refunds will follow the PDGA Policy in 1.03 of the Competition Manual (https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/103). A $10 fee will be assessed to all refund requests as outlined in the PDGA Policy.

Summary:
100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before the event (by Thursday, May 29, 2025).
50% refund if canceled at least 15 days prior (by Friday, June 13, 2025).
25% refund if canceled before 48 hours prior (by Thursday, June 26, 2025).
No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of the event start.
Exception: A full refund will be given if a player's spot is filled from the waitlist.
Refunds will not be issued after registration closes.

Two ways to withdraw: There is "Cancel / Request Refund" link in your email confirmation from DiscGolfScene.com. Also you can click the "Registered Players" link in the event and a "Edit" and "Withdraw" button is there.
