WNCDGA Random Draw Doubles - Enjoy a practice round and some random draw doubles. Check in will be 4:45-5:00 and we will draw for partners at 5:30. We will have 2 pools of players for the short and long layouts so you can choose which to play.

About this tournament

Western North Carolina Disc Golf Association is excited to host for the community a two round C-tier tournament at Sand Hill Nature Trail Disc Golf Course at Buncombe County Sports Park. We are happy to celebrate our 25th anniversary in 2025 and are looking forward to celebrating where we come from since Hurricane Helene and reinvigorating the efforts to continue to build back better.
Pass Through Fees
$3 from each player for PDGA Fees.
$0 from each player for TD Fees (WNCDGA is an all volunteer organization).
$0 from each player for greens fees (WNCDGA’s partnership with Buncombe County Parks & Recreation allows for no greens fees).
WNCDGA Member Discount for Amateurs

Amateur Player Pack
All amateurs will receive a custom stamped Innova disc and an athletic material polo or jersey. Extra discs and jerseys will be available for purchase by Pro players or others looking to support the tournament. Innova discs ordered (of various quantities): Proto Glow KC Pro Aviar, Halo Star Polecat, Luster Champ Toro, Halo Champion Mako3, Halo Star IT, and Halo Champion Destroyer. Register by Friday May 9th to ensure your shirt size is available the day of the tournament!

Pro Division Cap
Pro Division is capped at 20 players.
Layout
We will be playing a 20 hole layout utilizing most of the disc golf course with some combined holes as well as other parts of the park (like grass Fields 3, 4, & 5). There will be short tee pads on a number of holes allowing for two different layouts (MPO, MP40, and MA1 will play the long layout while all other divisions will play the shorter layout). Overall layout map is posted in the Pictures section and PDFs of the hole rules are posted as well.

Playoffs
If there is a tie for first place, a sudden victory playoff will determine the winner. The playoff holes will be 1, 2, 20 on repeat.
PDGA Membership Requirement
Non PDGA members who wish to participate are required to pay a $15 fee to the PDGA, per PDGA Rules.
PDGA Women's Disc Golf Week
In celebration of PDGA’s Women’s Disc Golf Week, the$15 non-member fee will be waived for all women who are not PDGA members who sign up.
