AEDGC is proud to be hosting a Wintery Indiana Frozen Fundraiser Series event in Evansville this year!
This is Event #19 in the 2023 Wintry Indiana Frozen Fundraiser Series (W.I.F.F.S.) All proceeds raised from this event will go directly to Evansville Rescue Mission. They are a faith-based Nonprofit organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of local citizens who are in need of care and support. If you would like to read about them more please visit their website here. https://evansvillerescuemission.org/
This event will be 2 Rounds of 18 Holes at Woodmere Disc Golf Course in Evansville.
All W.I.F.F.S. events are PDGA Sanctioned C-tiers through the Competition Endowment Program, so there is no $10 non-member fee.
Player pack disc with a series stamp to all amateur and pro trophy only players.
Entry fee will cover the cost of the series-stamped disc for each Am, and $1 from each player's entry will go to covering the cost of having a portajohn on site. Remaining funds will be donated to the Evansville Rescue Mission.
The GEN division is for people who would like to support Evansville Rescue Mission and receive a player disc. If you do not wish to receive a disc and make a straight donation, please indicate this in the notes!
SERIES FORMAT
Each player will get points based on the percentage of players in the event they beat, max of 90 points.
Each player will also receive 10 points for participating, for a total of 100 possible points per event.
Player's top 10 performances plus all participation points earned will count toward end of series awards.
Series trophies will be presented to the winners of the following divisions at the end of the W.I.F.F.S. Series:
MPO, MA1, MA2, MA3, MA4, MA40, MA50, MA60, Juniors, and Womens
These division winners will also earn a qualification spot in the 2023 Indiana State Championships.
