About this tournament

HOWDY Y’ALL!
We are just so darn-tootin’ excited to present to y’all our first ever WGE – Southwest Showdown!
YEE-HAWWW!
On August 6th and 7th, women from all over the world will play two rounds of disc golf at their local Women’s Global Event. Scores will be submitted and rated by the PDGA. These round ratings will be totaled and averaged to determine the players “Global Score.”
Juniors will only play the first round on a shorter layout.
The venue we have chosen to host this event is the beautiful Pusch Ridge Golf Course located at the El Conquistador Hilton Resort in Oro Valley. This will be a “pop-up” course, so there will be no opportunity to practice the course prior to the event.
Pusch Ridge at El Conquistador features amazing views of the extremely beautiful and rugged backside of the Catalina mountains. Being a traditional Golf course, it features some elevation change and involves a lot of walking. It will still be hot out, so we plan to tee off as early as possible in hopes of finishing before the temperature gets too high. Please keep any physical limitations in mind when registering.
Cowgirl hats and handkerchiefs are strongly encouraged!
We will have some waterin’ holes and shade stations to aid in your hydration!
Port-O-Janes will be on-site.
