About this tournament

Veterans for Vets is an event designed to meet three goals. First, it gives disc golfers a chance to play in an organized event during the winter months. Second, it provides an awesome environment for a disc golfer without any tournament experience to play in an organized event. Finally, it provides an opportunity for a local disc golf community to raise money that gets returned to that same community to organizations tasked with serving veterans!
This year we are raising donations for the Zero Dark Thirty Foundation, a 501(c)3 charity for veterans, first responders, and their families with a mission to bring awareness to veteran and first responder suicide and PTSD. More information can be found here: https://zerodarkthirtyfoundation.org/
This will be a single round RANDOM DOUBLES EVENT!! This event has 1 division: GENERAL. We will split into groups based on skill level to determine teams. Team we will drawn by cards and players will start on the hole the corresponds to the card the drawn. Example: 2 of hearts and 2 of diamonds will pair and start on hole 2.
Following the event (after lunch, raffle, and awards); we will have a cash buy-in $10 singles round. 50% to be paid out and 50% to be donated to the charity.
We also have 1 division that allows you to purchase the players pack only (NONP) if you cannot or choose not to participate. We will not ship players packs.
Players packs will include one baseline putter and one premium mid-range or driver disc. We are only ordering 60 players packs for this event. Once they are gone they are gone!!!
Other optional fees:
-- $10/$0 donations. 10 Raffle Tickets for $5 (On-line Price Only)
-- Day of will be 5 Raffle Tickets for $5.
-- Ace pot $10.
-- Option to purchase mulligans at $10 each DAY OF EVENT (CASH OR VENMO) !!!

ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE ALLOWED TO USE THEIR OWN PDGA APPROVED BAGGED DISCS.
