Veterans for Vets is a newer event designed to meet three goals. First, it gives disc golfers a chance to play in an organized event during the winter months. Second, it provides an awesome environment for a disc golfer without any tournament experience to play in an organized event. Finally, it provides an opportunity for a local disc golf community to raise money that gets returned to that same community to organizations tasked with serving veterans!

This year we are raising donations for is Building Stronger Veterans. Building Stronger Veterans (BSV) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide housing, employment, and support to homeless veterans, helping them heal, rebuild, and reintegrate into society as independent, thriving members.

Their vision is to create a future where every veteran has access to stable housing, meaningful employment, and the resources needed to regain their independence and purpose. More information about their organization can be found here: https://www.buildingstrongerveterans.org/

This event has 6 total divisions:
4 of them are open to the public (Advanced/Pro Male, Advanced/Pro Female, Novice Male, Novice Female)
2 of them are exclusive to veterans and active duty personnel (US Veteran Male & US Veteran Female)

We also have 1 division that allows you to purchase the players pack only (NONP) if you cannot or choose not to participate. We will not ship players packs.

Players packs will include one baseline putter and one premium mid-range or driver disc.

Other optional fees: $10/$25/$50 donations. 10 Raffle Tickets for $5 (On-line Price Only/Day of Will be 5 Raffle Tickets for $5). Ace pot $5.

Non-Sanctioned 1 Round SINGLES event at Eagle Island State Park. Using the Amateur Lay-Out. Friendly/casual OB's to include water and barbed fence lines.

ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE ALLOWED TO USE THEIR OWN PDGA APPROVED BAGGED DISCS.

Eagle Island Disc Golf Club is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.
