Urbana Hilltop First Annual Opening Day BYOP

Come check out the updated Urbana Hilltop (all new tee pads) and new long course layout! A lot of work went into the course this winter, and we figured the best way to reveal it is with a fun doubles tournament.
This is an unsanctioned BYOP (Bring Your Own Partner) doubles event hosted by Urbana Hilltop Disc Golf.
Format: Best Shot Doubles
Round 1 – Original Layout
Teams will play the original course design. All short tees except long 17. Take advantage of the scoring opportunities early because you may need those birdies heading into round 2.
Round 2 – New 2026 Updated Layout
Round two features the newly redesigned course, including 10 brand new updated holes that have never been thrown before. This new layout is a much more challenging track, so try to hold onto those birdies from Round 1!
All divisions will play Best Shot Doubles for both rounds.
Break Between Rounds
We’ll have a break between rounds. Food and beverages will be available for purchase as well as a raffle sponsored by Birdie Bud Dyes. They will have some awesome dyed discs and items available to win. As well as discs and items for sale. Raffle tickets will be available to purchase prior to round 1 as well.
Raffle Tickets:
- $1 each
- $5 for 6
All players receive 1 free raffle ticket with their registration.
Mulligans
Mulligans will be available for purchase:
- $5 for 6 mulligans
- Maximum of 6 per player
- Mulligans cannot be shared with your partner
Divisions
Play in the division of the highest rated player on your team.
Example: An Intermediate + Rec player must play Intermediate.

Bring Your Friend Division
We’re offering a bring your friend division for new players and youth who want to experience tournament play. Bring a friend along and let them experience what disc golf is all about.

- No prizes awarded (will get a trophy)
- Limited spots available (4 teams)
If you have friends or younger players interested in trying out the sport, this is a great opportunity to get them involved.
