About this tournament
1 round of play
The UofL DGC will be hosting Thursday evening putting drop-in from 7-9 pm in the ULSU ballroom next to the zoo on the top floor of the SU building.
Come stop by and practice your putting skills. Challenge your friends and meet new people!
$15 fee for non-students to cover prizing. Pay once and come as often as you like.

Suggested games:
1v1 Horseshoes:
Two players stand 10m from the basket with two putters each. Flip a disc to see who throws first. Each player gets two throws per round and is awarded 1 point for hitting metal (excluding the pole and base), 2 points for chains, and 3 points for a make. After both players have thrown, go collect your discs. The player that received the most points in that round then throws first in the following round. Play until one player reaches 21 points. You must win by at least 2 points.
2v2 Horseshoes:
2 baskets are placed 25 feet apart. Select a teammate and stand at opposite baskets with two putters each. Your opponents split and stand at opposite baskets so that one person from each team is at each basket. Flip a disc to decide which team throws first. Players from one side throw their putts, then wait for the other side to throw. Each round is worth one point. The point is one by the team that made the most putts. If there is a tie the point is pushed and the next round becomes worth one additional point. The game ends when one team has made 5 points.
Players who are winning often should add more distance to challenge themselves, and newer players are welcome to throw from closer to the basket.
