About this tournament
2 rounds of play
United Way of Huntington County, Indiana is excited to host its third Discs for a Difference Disc Golf Tournament!
Early childhood/educational programs matter. With your support, we are getting children ages 0-5 off to the right educational start so that they can be better students, and eventually better employees and members of our society.
Your registration supports United Way of Huntington County's fundraising goal of $12,000 toward early childhood/education programs like Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. (www.imaginationlibrary.com)
The DfD tournament features two 18-hole rounds at the beautiful and well-kept Memorial Hills disc golf course in Huntington.
Many holes on the course will feature sponsored CTP (closest to pin) prizes, many of them division-protected. Players can buy into the 50/50 Ace Pot for $5, with the first player to score an ace claiming the payout. One major CTP prize will be featured (TBD) on one hole, available to all players for a $5 buy in. In addition, a number of sponsored items will be up for raffle with one purchased ticket for $5 or five tickets for $20. Player’s pack will feature at least a new premium plastic disc., a $5.00 coupon toward lunch, and more. 1st place winners of each division will receive a commemorative trophy (TBD).
See the posted schedule for the day. The lunch hour will begin after the last group reports in after the first round. Lunch will be available for purchase by Whatcha Havin’? BBQ.
In addition to divisions for Mixed Amateur levels 1-4, a Pro division and Junior division (MJ18), is being offered.
