About this tournament
The 2023 Trilogy Challenge at the Highlands is an unsanctioned, one-round, beginner friendly event starting on Saturday, June 17th, 2023 @ 9:20am at The Highlands at North Fork in Johnstown, PA
The Trilogy Challenge series of events provide a trio of limited edition discs, one each from the trifecta of manufacturers: Dynamic Discs, Westside Discs, and Latitude 64. This challenge event will require players to compete across the current 12 established holes, equipped only with the putter, midrange, and driver provided in their player's pack.
Advanced/Intermediate players will play from the existing white/long tees
Amateur/Novice players will play from newly laid out red/short tees
As more players register, additional temporary holes may be added, to a maximum of 18, that may become permanent in the future.
There will be at least one CTP per division that may increase pending player registration.
The course, trinity of curated discs, ease of access, and significant return on investment (registration fee vs player's pack) are especially designed to enable beginners to join, while still challenging more experienced players, enabling every participant to walk away with new plastic, a fun experience, and possibly even a trophy or prize!
The awards ceremony will be located at Trixie's Pub and they will be open for lunch and beverages at this time. Players pack will include a free lunch voucher as well!
The 2023 Trilogy Challenge at the Highlands player's pack includes three discs:
- a Dynamic Disc Ricky Wysocki Fuzion Ice Orbit Vandal distance driver (Speed: 9 Glide: 5 Turn: -1.5 Fade: 2),
- a Westside Matt Orum Fuzion Ice Orbit Warship midrange (Speed: 5 Glide: 6 Turn: 0 Fade: 1)
- a Latitude 64 Kristin Tattar Retro Orbit Pure putter (Speed: 3 Glide: 3 Turn: -1 Fade: 1),
- a Dynamic Disc branded towel w/ clip
- a Trilogy mini marker
The only way to guarantee a players pack and entry into the even is through early registration. These will need ordered at minimum two weeks prior to the event and any remaining packs will be available on a first come first serve basis for the day of the event.
