About this tournament
1 round of play
Queer Disc Golf , ChainLink and Missed Mando are teaming up to run a Toronto Fundraiser titled "Toronto Slush". This event is in support of the Daily Bread Foodbank.
The Missed Mando team is designing a mini-Mayhem style course unique to this event. The event will be 27 holes, with 1 round open play and 2 rounds with additional mandos or obstacles on every hole. ChainLink is offering the "Beaches" stamped Glow Shogun as an optional and-on and will donate $4 from each disc sale towards the cause! Support the fundraiser and the course designers- it's a win-win.
We have removed the putters only part of the tournament. You can use a full bag.
There are no drop zones at all. If you miss a mando, you have to play backwards to behind the mando and throw through it. Miss it again? Throw backwards again.
Registration Fee of 25 dollars includes a donation of $15 to Daily Bread and $10 towards a cash pot that will be split 50/30/20 (First, Second and Third) in each respective division. There is no player pack being offered to maximize payouts and donation amount.
Players can earn two Mulligans. One can be earned by bringing two non perishable food items. The other can be purchased at registration for an additional $5.
Please see schedule for more information. Thank you for your support and we can't wait to see you all there!
Since 1983, Daily Bread Food Bank has worked to meet emergency needs while advocating for long-term solutions to end poverty with 207 programs across Toronto from a 108,000 sq. ft. distribution hub in Etobicoke, ON. Through Research and Advocacy, we strive for everyone’s right to food, collaborating with stakeholders across the sector for meaningful policy change.
