About this tournament
1 round of play
The Tiger Open is back again for the 4th year in a row! Come kick off a 3 day weekend at The Woods at Trinity with a Flex Start Friday! Players can tee off anytime during the allotted time frame, 7am-6:30pm. Minimum of 3 players per card.
Check-In
All players MUST check in with the Tournament Director before teeing off. We will organize and create your card, as well as communicate course rules with players. Players who start their round without TD confirmation are subject to disqualification without refund.
Registration & CTP's
Registration can be done online or on site. Online Preregistration is preferred and will enter you to participate in 2 Closest to the Pin challenges if done the day before the event by 8:00pm! We accept cash, card, and Venmo on site for registration.
Course Layout
All divisions will be playing the same course layout that they are playing for the Tiger Open. All layouts can be found on UDISC. See below for details.
The Tiger Open will feature 3 player pools competing on 3 unique 18 hole course layouts. Each pool will play the same course layout for both rounds.
Holes 2 and 11 will feature temporary baskets that all pools will use. Hole 2's pin will be a long location that will play as a par 4 for all. Hole 11 will have a short pin that will play as a par 3 for all.
Each Layout will get a UDisc smart layout added in the next week.
Gold Layout - MPO, MP40, MA1, MA40
Blue tees (Long) to Gold baskets (Long).
Original Holes 13-14 and 20-21 will be combined into two par 5's. You will play hole 13's blue tee to hole 14's basket and hole 20's blue tee to hole 21's gold pin. Skip original hole 15.
White Layout - MP50, MA50, MA2
Red Tee (Short) to Gold Pin (Long) on holes 1-7,10,12,13,15-18.
Blue Tee (Long) to Short Basket on holes 8-9,11,14
Original Holes 13-14 and 20-21 will be combined into two par 5's. You will play hole 13's Red tee to hole 14's basket and hole 20's Red tee to hole 21's gold pin. Skip original hole 15.
Green Layout - FA2, FA40, FA50, MA60, MA3, FA3, MA4, FA4
Red Tee (Short) to Short Pin - 1,4,4-7,9,10-12,15-18
Red Tee (Short) to Gold Pin (Long) - 2,3,8,13,
Blue Tee - 14
Hole 13 will play to the long pin of the original hole, not hole 14's basket. Hole 18 will play as original hole 21 Red to Short. Skip original 14,15,20.

There is an additional and optional $5 ace pot entry
Ace Pot
Any player who enters into the ace pot will have a chance for a serious payday if the hit a hole in one during competition! The ace pot total for this event is $1000. If no aces are hit then the collected ace pot entries will carry over to our next North Texas Flex Start event. If more than one aces are hit then the players will evenly split the ace pot.
Flex Start Payout
$20 of each entry fee is collected for the purse for this event. Payout will be awarded to the top 45% of each division using the PDGA payout scale. Pro divisions will be paid in cash or digitally after the event. Amateur players will win a merchandise credit to The on-site Disc Golf Dojo proshop.
Payout will be available and published to Disc Golf Scene once all players have completed their rounds and after 6:30pm. Payout can be redeemed the day of the event or at any future Disc Golf Dojo event. Follow us on Disc Golf Scene and get notified where we are each weekend.
Am payout will expire 2 years after it is awarded. Credit awarded at this event is valid through July 12th, 2026.

We are hosting an additional Flex Start Doubles event in conjunction with this one. For more details on Doubles check out the Doubles event page linked below. Doubles and singles have separate ace pots.
