About this tournament

This is a women's team event. Teams are made up of four women each.

THERE IS A RATING CAP FOR ALL TEAMS.

Ratings for the event will be set as of the PDGA March Ratings Update. Your rating on the day of the event does not matter; only your rating as of the March 10th update does.

If a player on your team has never received a PDGA rating, they will be assigned a rating of 725.
If a player is a PDGA member, but not current, we will use their most recent rating.

This year, we will have TWO DIVISIONS!

The rating cap for the Blue Pool will be < 3600
The rating cap for the White Pool will be < 3150

We had to pick divisions that the PDGA recognizes for our registration to show up on their website, so:

"Blue [rating <970]" applies to teams with a combined rating below 3600.
"White [rating <935]' is for teams with a combined rating lower than 3150.

(Please ignore the [rating ###] stuff in the brackets-- Disc Golf Scene isn't quite built for team events!)

The event will be trophy-only NO PAYOUTS for all divisions and offer an incredible weekend of fun, including a sweet player pack for everyone, goodies, prizes, food, and a donation to charity. The color of the divisions is subject to change pending a PDGA waiver, but this will not alter the division breaks of Under 3600 and Under 3150 it will only be a switch in your division color coding for the website.

The $220 entry fee is for the whole team. The cost is only $55 per person.

PLAYER PACK (ALL PARTICIPANTS PRO & AM):

Coming Soon (but will include a custom team event jersey for each player!)
The cut-off date to receive a custom jersey is April 24th.

FORMAT:

This event is modeled after the National Collegiate Disc Golf Championships format. Teams of 4 women will play two rounds of Team Doubles Play.

What is Team Doubles Play?

Doubles are played with two sets of teammates, one ODD and one EVEN. The ODD set will tee off on every odd-numbered hole, while the EVEN set tees off on every even-numbered hole. After the tee shots, the team chooses which of the two lies to play. From there, the set that did not tee throws their two shots. Again, the whole team decides which lie to play from, and the set that teed off would throw. That alternating process continues until the hole is complete. On the next hole, according to the hole number, ODD or EVEN, the corresponding set of teammates would tee off no matter which set putt out on the previous hole. This format allows each player to tee off the same number of times and for teams to play as a whole. Each hole has two teams playing together as an eight-some.

We'll have fun side games during lunch and after round two, including our individual and team putting championship, our accuracy bulls-eye game, and a few more fun activities.

This format generally runs fast, and with it being a one-day, two-round event, we hope you can squeeze us into your 2025 schedule.

PLAYOFF HOLES: Red Hawk 17 long, 18 short, on a loop with teams alternating teeing order after first loop.
