38th Annual 3Rivers Open

This year's event will be an A-tier for both Professionals & Amateurs. 3 days featuring 1 tee time round per day Aug 25th thru 27th.

$3,000 added cash to the pro purse.
Am payouts for the top 45% in each division with 110% minimum added value

Player's party Saturday from 5:30-8pm at Concordia Seminary will feature a 9-hole Par2 course, Basket Toss, Putting competition and Distance competition. Live DJ, raffle door prizes, & food from Flora and Lily's food truck!

We are proud to partner with the Paul McBeth Foundation to help assist them in funding their course development initiatives. PMF focuses on developing and introducing sustainable disc golf experiences in underserved locations with limited or no access to the sport. We thank you for your consideration to contribute during registration. We will also be donating the 50/50 CTP proceeds and non-claimed Ace Fund money as well. Ace funds are pool specific for Pool C & D, Pool A & B will be combined.
Pool A/B currently is $310, Pool C is $270, Pool D is $310. These amounts may go up if more people buy in.

Each 50/50 CTP will have 2 payout chances. Your first hole Friday and Saturday will feature a chance for you to claim the CTP if you have paid in.
50/50 CTP must be marked with a distance written down to qualify (write down distance in Inches please). There will be a tape measure with each flag.
Pool A/B will have two $73 payouts, Pool C/D will have two $123 payouts. These amounts may go up if more people buy in.

If you want to buy-in Friday at check in, please bring cash!

MA1 can pick up their player packs at Concordia on Friday. All other Ams will be able to get their player packs Saturday at PFW.
If you DNF after Friday's round from Pool C or D we will make arrangements to get you your player pack.

Pools and course assignments will be as follows.
Pool A - MPO MP40 MA1
Pool B - MP50 MP60 FPO FP40
Pool C - MA40 MA50 MA2 FA1
Pool D - MA60 MA70 MA3 FA40 FA2 FA3

Pools A & B will play Friday/Saturday/Sunday as follows Concordia / Tillman / Tillman
Pools C & D will play Friday/Saturday/Sunday as follows Tillman / PFW / Concordia

Note about OB: a few additional OB notes have been added to the PDGA scoring layouts. The pdga live scorecard notes will take precedence over what is in the PDF player guide.
Tillman 10 & 12 will have a painted line between the 2 fairways that will mark OB.
Tillman Hole 3 will have the OB ridgeline flagged instead of painted. (too much brush to get a clean ob line painted)

We ask that each player check in at tournament central 30 minutes prior to their posted tee time.
It is critical that Dave Walters or Megan Kemery are informed if you are going to DNF or drop from the event!

Event scoring:
All cards are required to keep 2 digital score cards via the PDGA live scoring.
It is extremely important that BOTH of these scorecards are checked and submitted after the round.

Am cashouts will be provided by Great Lake Discs at Concordia Seminary
(MA1 will have a disc selection on site from the club at Tillman, but they may choose to travel to Concordia to cash out with GLD)

Sudden death playoff layouts (1st Place Ties on Sunday):
Pool A & B Tillman park: 1 Blue, 18 Blue, 17 Blue, 18 White, then 19 Red. On repeat until there is a winner.
Pool C & D Concordia: 1 thru 4, 17, & 18. On repeat until there is a winner. Play your pool's tees. (Pool D short tees on 4 & 17)

Ties for 2nd and 3rd place trophies in certain divisions will result in a throw off from a predetermined spot.

As of today we will be changing the name of the Three Rivers Open to the 3Rivers Open - Powered by Prodigy! This event will be a PDGA A-tier held August 25th thru August 27th.

We are proud to welcome 3Rivers FCU as a new title sponsor for the event. 3Rivers FCU has been serving the local community for over 80 years and boasts 21 area branch locations, 9 in Fort Wayne alone and many more in the surrounding areas. Early registration opens Monday, May 1st at Noon for all Ladies and Masters divisions along with all other divisions with rating limits (MPO 970+, MA1 935+, MA2 900+, & MA3 850+). Then on Monday, May 15th at Noon, registration will fully open for anyone below the rating limits.
