Player's Meeting:
We are excited to see everyone tomorrow! Here are some things to be aware of:
Tee off is at noon for all divisions. Your hole assignments and scorecards will be available at the Marsh Pavilion starting at 11:00 am.
The paper scorecard is the OFFICIAL scorecard and must be turned in to the TD following the round. You may also keep score on UDisc. There is a layout for Deerfield Park - Wildwood called the Team Taylor Three Disc Challenge. As of right now, it does not have Deerfield hole 18 on it but we are hoping to have that adjusted by tournament time.
Payouts for the event, including the ace pool will be via PayPal for all divisions except for juniors. If this is impossible for you because you don’t have PayPal, please see the TD following the event if you are in the top 40% of your division. We will have limited cash on site.
This event is unsanctioned, but we ask that you adhere to PDGA rules as much as possible.
-Do not alter your lie.
-Play from directly behind your lie.
-You may mark your lie with a mini or just leave your disc on the ground and throw another disc. -You must mark your lie and not just pick up the same disc and throw again without marking the lie.
-We won’t have the 10m circle marked, but within 10m of the basket you may not follow through your lie (step past your disc) when releasing. If you have any question about whether or not you are in the 10m circle, ask your cardmates and the judgement of the card will rule.
-We are excited to have junior players. Please be aware of who is around you and let this inform your behavior on the course. We love it when families come to play!
-We will not have OB except on hole 14 if your disc is completely surrounded by water.
-Please be courteous to other players. We want this to be a fun event for everyone. If there are discrepancies, please bring them to the TD for resolution after the round.
Layout
We will play Deerfield short holes 1,2,3,6,7,8,9 and then Wildwood short holes 6,7,5 before finishing the round back on Deerfield holes 10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17 and 18. All divisions will play short tee pads. Deerfield has brown tee signs and Wildwood has green tee signs. We will have arrows indicating direction when holes are played out of order or courses overlap.
Please start your scorecard on the appropriate hole.
