Welcome to the 2025 Tournament Capital Open. The Kamloops Disc Golf Club would like to acknowledge that our courses are located on the unceded ancestral territory of the Tkemlúpsemc or “people of the confluence,” where the North and South Thompson rivers connect. Our city name is an English interpretation of the Secwepemc word, Tkemlúps, meaning where the rivers meet, and you can experience this atop Rose Hill on the greens of 13 and 14.

This is a 3 DAY TOURNAMENT , course rotations are pinned in the comments.
July 10-12 for all Amateur Divisions
July 11-13 for all Pro Divisions

AMATEURS: this is a Trophy Only event for all Amateur Divisions.
There are no payouts or prizing.
All Amateurs will receive a player pack that we are proud to say is Made In Canada, supporting Canadian businesses that give back to our sport. We won't give away all the details but we have to mention the star of the show, a tournament jersey designed by BC's own Mike Ramanauskas of https://doubleramdisc.com/
Pros will play for cash...no player packs or prizing.
All divisional podium finishers will receive a trophy.

COURSES IN PLAY
Rose Hill, Mac Island and Dick Hart disc golf courses are in play.
Pools and course assignments will be determined and posted as soon as possible.
Each division will only play 2 of the three courses.

March 10 General Registration

All updates, your welcome letter, and for Pros, your payouts, will be sent via the email address used.

PASS THROUGH FEES:
Your Entry Fee will include the following Pass Through Fees:
$5 PDGA Player fee
$4 TD Fee
$1 Porta Potty Rental
$15 Green Fee

WAITLIST
There is a NON-REFUNDABLE $10 fee to be waitlisted
If you make it into the event, this fee will be put against what you owe for registration.
If you do not pay for registration within 24 hours of being notified, your name will be removed from the tournament, and we will move onto the next player.

REGISTRATION CLOSES June 6
At this time all divisions, with the exception of the underserved, with less than 3 players will be collapsed. We will contact affected players and offer them the option to move divisions or receive a full refund minus the $10 processing fee.

AMATEUR PLAYERS NOTE: during registration, you will have an option to customize your jersey. If you choose to do so, you WILL NOT RECIEVE any refund upon withdraw. You will only receive your player pack!

As per PDGA guidelines, withdraws will be dealt with as follows:

Withdraw prior to June 9
All players will receive a full refund of their entry fee minus a $10 processing fee.

Withdraw from June 10 - June 25
All Registrants will receive a full refund of their entry fee minus a $10 processing fee ONLY if their spot is filled by a waitlisted registrant.
PROS: If her/his spot is NOT filled by a waitlisted registrant, they will receive a 50% refund of the entry fee minus the $10 processing fee.
AMS: If her/his spot is NOT filled by a waitlisted registrant, they will receive their player pack

Withdraw from June 26- July 8
All Registrants will receive a full refund of their entry fee minus a $10 processing fee ONLY if their spot is filled by a waitlisted registrant.
PROS: If her/his spot is NOT filled by a waitlisted registrant, they will receive a 25% refund of the entry fee minus the $10 processing fee.
AMS: If her/his spot is NOT filled by a waitlisted registrant, they will receive their player pack


Withdraw July 9 Onwards
NO REFUND OR PLAYER PACK WILL BE PROVIDED

NO REFUNDS OR PLAYER PACK will be provided to any registrant who fails to officially withdraw

NO REFUND OR PLAYER PACK will be provided to any registrant who is a NO SHOW

There will be no in-person players meeting. All information will be sent via email.
