About this tournament
$400 added cash
1 round of play
This will be 1 round of 20 holes at Joseph Davis state park. Both divisions will play white tees. The layout for this 1 round event will be the same for both divisions. 20 holes from the white tees. When describing hole numbers I will be using the traditional 27 hole (holes with concrete pads) numbering scheme. All players will play hole 1, followed by a safari from hole 2's tee to hole 3's basket (par 4), followed by holes 4 through 9, then all players will skip over to old hole 16 with a temp basket, and play 17 through 27.
It's like a throw down...Or maybe a hoedown?
Either way, the Pro Down at Joseph Davis will be a zero dollar entry fee (online fees may apply, not sure yet) PDGA C tier with MPO and FPO divisions only. Non PDGA members still have to pay the $10 fee.
There will be $200 added to both divisions. Payout will be $100 for 1st place, $65 for 2nd place, and $35 for 3rd place for both divisions regardless of number of players. There will be no required payout below that due to the lack of entry fees.
The event will be capped at 32 (16/16) players. Division caps will be adjusted after a week or two of registration.
There will be a short ratings based tiered entry period after which all players can register.
This event will happen rain, snow, or shine.
Further details to come soon.
