Thank you everyone for participating in the 2024 Cowtown Throwdown presented by Innova. I hope everyone enjoyed the event as much as we did. I emailed each player some survey questions about the event. We value your input to help make this event and others a more enjoyable experience for everyone. My only advice would be to have a more comprehensive caddy book (pictures indicating Tee, Basket, OB, Mandos, DZs, etc).

If the current caddy book is the official governing set of rules, the road will be in bounds and the field over the road (right of road) is all in-bounds on Hole 10?

For Saturday, check-in will start at 7:30 (basically as soon as we set up and the park opens). Every player needs to check in. Do not check in for anyone but yourself. Check-in will be at the Innova tables and ez-ups. Upon check in, each player will receive a tournament pin and their drawing tickets. Amateur players will also be able to pick up their tournament disc. Pro players, be sure to confirm your paypal address to be used for any payouts. We will have a quick players meeting to go over any questions at 8:30. All players need to be checked in by 8:45. If a players has not checked in by 8:45 am and neither myself or Nate has heard from said player, we will assume you are not coming and will give your spot to a player that is waiting. Be sure you watch the digital players meeting posted early and let me know if there are any questions.

We spent the morning moving the baskets. Every hole is in the position for the tournament as of today, except hole 2. The club is going to work on the position and have hole 2 set up by tomorrow, which gives you the weekend the practice. I am posting pictures to reference the mandos that will be in play that are different from the normal course play so you can practice the correct lines. All normal mandos of the course are still marked.

If you are on the waitlist, please keep an eye on your emails. Players drop during this last week, which means your chance to play is pretty good. I send multiple emails out to players who have been promoted, but if you don't update your registration or contact me about your registration, I have to assume you are no longer interested in playing and will remove you from the list and promote the next player. This has already happened to a couple players from the waitlist.

Hey, how does the waitlist process work?
I see folks getting promoted out of the waitlist as people drop out, BUT what if a player hasn't been promoted by the day of the event?
Should one show up the day of, in the event others don't show and spots become available? Or just sleep in and move on?
